Most Important Stuff

If you don’t read anything else, this is all you simply need to do to help your AO:

1. Make sure you are tagged to the AO that you want in the attached file – if not, post a message into #summer-csaup-tags-fngs channel with the AO you want to be tagged to
2. Post at workouts at your tagged AO, Black Diamond, or Black Ops
3. Post at workouts at competing AO’s with at least a group of 3 PAX from you tagged AO
4. EH as many FNG’s as possible.  Message into #summer-csaup-tags-fngs channel the FNG you EH’d

More Detailed Rules:

How the AO taggings will work:

• Each PAX (from within F3N or outside of F3N) that has posted at least 5 times in F3 Naperville since the end of Lincoln Games is default tagged to the AO that they have posted the most since Lincoln Games.  Please see the attached document to see your default AO tagging if you have posted at least 5 times since Lincoln Games.
• However, everyone can edit which AO they are tagged to.  To change your tag, simply message in the #summer-csaup-tags-fngs channel the AO you would like to be tagged to. Your AO tag from the start of the event is the AO you will represent for the entirety of the event – you cannot change mid-event.
• For those PAX (both inside and outside of F3N) that have not posted at least 5 times since Lincoln Games, once you post 3 times at one AO from the start of the event, that is the AO you will then be tagged to and will accrue points / dole out negative points on behalf of / have ability to accrue FNG credit toward.

How the rankings work

• First element:  Average posts per workout, scaled by starting PAX count for your tagged AO.
• Second element:  Total FNG’s, scaled by starting PAX count for your tagged AO.
• Third element: “disruptor” points.
• Each element will get ranked separate, weighted average value of those 3 rankings (40% posting rank, 40% FNG rank, 20% disruptor points) is then used for a final rank – for example if your AO ranked 2nd in posts, 4th in FNG’s, and 6th in “disruptor” points, you would have a value of 3.6 (40%*2)+(40%*4)+(20%*6), which then gets used to determine final rank.
• SLT may provide weekly updates with the running rankings.

AO Notes

• The Globe and Ice House will be combined as one AO only for the purposes of this CSAUP.
• Both late start and normal time workouts at the same AO will be combined into one AO for purposes of this CSAUP.
• Black Ops and Black Diamond will not be dedicated competing AO’s for this event.  However, you will be be able to post at Black Ops and Black Diamond workouts and get credit for a post towards your tagged AO.

How to get post credit for your AO, hit other AO’s with negative post credits:

• If you post (1) at your tagged AO, (2) at a Black Ops workout, or (3) at a Black Diamond workout you accrue positive post credit toward your tagged AO, scaled by starting AO tagged PAX count.
• If you post at a competitor AO with at least 3 PAX from you home AO, you accrue negative post credit toward that competitor AO, scaled by your home AO tagged PAX count.
• If you post at a competitor AO with less than 3 PAX from your home AO you will not get post credit for purposes of this CSAUP (but it will still count as post credit for normal posting purposes).

How to get FNG credit for your AO:

• If you EH a FNG, post that FNG’s name into the #summer-csaup-tags-fngs channel.  That FNG will get credited towards the AO that the EH’er is tagged to (no matter the AO the FNG first posts at).   If there is no EH PAX determined for an FNG, then the AO location that an FNG first posts will get FNG credit.
• This is going to be on the honor system – any shenanigans here, and the PAX whoever tries improperly claiming an FNG will get negative points for their AO at the discretion of the SLT.

Disruptor Points:

• At various point(s) in the competition the Nant’an may choose to present a challenge(s) to the region to complete for these points.

Points details

• Each AO PAX will have posting value determined by 1 / # of PAX tagged to that AO at the beginning of the event.
• For example, if Dark Tower starts the event with 40 tagged PAX, then the post credit for each DT PAX post (for both positive and negative posts) is scaled by 40 – so 1/40.  If a DT PAX posts at DT, Black Ops, or Black Diamond workouts, that PAX contributes 1/40 of value to Dark Tower per workout.  If that DT PAX posts at a competing AO (as part of a minimum group of 3 DT tagged PAX) that PAX detracts 1/40 worth of value from that competing AO.  If a DT PAX posts at a competing AO as only part of 2 DT PAX, THAT POST WILL NOT COUNT FOR PURPOSES OF THIS EVENT (but it will still count as a port for normal posting credit).
• The FNG credit will also be scaled by the value of 1 / # of PAX tagged to AO at start of event
• Disruptor points details to be announced.

Making this thang work is going to require Site Q’s to be posting backblast info in a prompt manner so that we can get proper post credit.  We’d like to ask a big favor for Site Q’s to continue to be diligent and prompt in posting PAX and Q backblast info.  Thanks men!Highly encouraged for AO’s to get creative as possible to get your home AO PAX to show up, get those Kotters out of hibernation, and share this thang with FNG’s all around you – it could include running your own AO specific CSAUP, hosting some kind of AO event, etc, etc.  Let the AO creativity loose!God speed men.  Which AO is gonna   up, and show us who is the cream of the crop.
