We started this blood drive because the wife (and sister) of two PAX had major complications during childbirth and required extensive blood transfusions to save her life. Not to mention many other PAX that have had family members require blood during surgeries. Remember . . . we are community leaders. Leading from the front means give up your blood.  Starting eating a lot of red meat now to get your iron count up for the annual “best hemoglobin count” contest. Yes, we made that a thing. Everything is a competition . . .
