Lincoln Games 2022 – Overview & Official Scoring Outline

We are thrilled to be hosting our 3rd annual Lincoln Games, from May 9-14. This week-long event will pit 20 different teams of F3 Naperville PAX against each other through a variety of Fitness, Fellowship and Faith/community support opportunities. In reality, this event will bring everyone across the region closer together, but through the lens of competition. To cite our 1st F Q and reigning Mr. Lincoln Blues Clues:

“I love Lincoln Games. I love the spirt of it because it’s a reminder of how we can POSITIVELY disrupt all 3 F’s in our lives, with our brothers, in our communities for a greater good. We all should:

  • Prepare to Disrupt our Fitness to new levels never achieved
  • Prepare to Disrupt our Fellowship with new PAX you never knew
  • Prepare to Disrupt our Faith as we give back to our community in many new ways

Lincoln Games is designed to improve and accelerate not just the Human Experience but the HIM experience across the land.

This will be the 3rd Annual Lincoln Games…the next level in the “unshackling of the modern day warrior”

How can I score points for my team?

You may score 5 points for attending a workout from 5:15-6 (M-F). You may score an additional 5 points if you double tap on a Saturday so 10 points total on a Saturday are possible. During this week of Lincoln Games, we will NOT offer our Late Start or Black Diamond options for this week only to streamline the Daily 3 below and bring our region closer together for the week.

You may score an additional 5 points for Qing a workout – one time only and must be at a Naperville AO, no Down Range Q points.

Daily 3

  1. You may score 3 points for Running 5 miles. You must have a picture of the distance you traveled via the exercise tracker of your choice [Strava, Map My Run, etc.]
  2. You may score 3 points for Rucking 3 miles, 30# minimum. You must have a picture of the distance you traveled via the exercise tracker of your choice [Strava, Map My Run, etc.]
  3. You may score 3 points for Biking 15 miles. You must have a picture of the distance you traveled via the exercise tracker of your choice [Strava, Map My Run, etc.]

To summarize: A PAX has the opportunity to score 14 points daily for his team. (Saturday a PAX may score 19 points)

However, a PAX may score 19 points one time during the week if he Q’s a workout in addition to the ruck/run/bike (Saturday 24 points).

  1. Power Run – 10 points awarded once per PAX if they complete a 10-mile run, or up to 20 points if you complete a 20-mile run. For every mile you run between 10-20 miles you earn an extra point, again, a maximum of 20 points. You must have a picture of the distance you traveled via the exercise tracker of your choice [Strava, Map My Run, etc.].
  2. Power Ruck (30lb minimum) – 10 points awarded once per PAX if they complete a 10-mile ruck, or up to 20 points if you complete a 20-mile ruck. NOTES:

  • You are only allowed to complete each Power event one time per week. If you complete 15 miles on the Power Run you only score 15 points. If you want to score the other 3 points for the run portion of the daily 3, you would end up running a total of 20 miles that day for 18 points total.
  • The Daily 3 and Power events must be done in one attempt, one shot. In other words, there is NO SPLITTING UP distance. I.E. If you’re planning to bike 15 miles, you can NOT do 10 miles in the morning, 5 in the afternoon. It must be done in one attempt, one shot.
  • All fitness events are to be held outdoors. This is F3, not Orange Theory or Peloton, etc.
  • A Run Club is a post and does NOT count for a daily 3 activity. I.E. Tuesday at the Outpost is Run Club which is worth 5 points, you can’t double dip and get 3 points for running 5 miles during Run Club too. These are separate activities.

FNGs

  • Any PAX that brings an FNG gets to add them & their point total to their respective team.

POP-UPS

  • Pay Attention for Daily pop-up points throughout the week too! 5 points each

TOP “X”

  • At the end of Lincoln Games, the Top “X” individual point earners will be eligible to compete in a future CSAUP experience to determine who’s best of the best. I.E. Top 20 PAX, etc. Details TBA in the near future.

Good luck. May the best team win!
