0 Score and 6 years ago the founders of F3 Naperville brought upon a new type of pain to the PAX in the form of Lincoln Games.

If F3 is recess for men, Lincoln Games is the annual kickball tournament. It’s a 6-day blitz of a competition to work as a team to earn as many points as possible to win the illustrious prize of absolutely nothing. Or is it nothing?

Some guys love Lincoln Games because of the comradery. Some guys love Lincoln Games because of the physical challenge. Some guys love Lincoln Games because of the competitive aspect of it, both team and individual. Some guys love Lincoln Games because of the smack talking. Some guys love the swag and some guys just can’t pick what they love the most. The bottomline is that no one who participates in Lincoln Games comes out on the other side saying, “Boy, was that a waste of time.”

Lincoln Games’ mission is to push PAX out of their comfort zone; encouraging them to explore different AOs in the region; interact more with other PAX and be an active contributing member of our community.

If you post once a month, Lincoln Games is for you. If you post 8 times a week, Lincoln Games is for you. If you’ve got an injury and are only able to participate in the social stuff, Lincoln Games is for you. If you’re travelling for work all week and not able to post in F3 Naperville but can do some daily challenges and extra credit, Lincoln Games is for you. If you’ve never participated in Lincoln Games and aren’t sure if Lincoln Games is for you, Lincoln Games is for you.

F3 is more than a workout and Lincoln Games is meant to be a reflection of that so LFG!!

HOW TO EARN IMAGINARY POINTS FOR PRIDE

Standard Bootcamps or Run/Ruck/Cardio Clubs

  • You will score 6 points for attending.
  • All of these posts will be 45 minutes for the week of LGs.

Black Diamonds

  • You will score 9 points for attending a Black Diamond workout.
  • There will be 5 Black Diamond workouts this week.
  • Locations will be provided ahead of time for planning purposes.
  • This will be a much more demanding workout and 1 hour in length hence worth more points.
  • Down Range BD DO NOT count for Black Diamond points.

Post Quota

  • You must post twice during Lincoln Games for your points/score to count.
  • You may post in any region.
    • Naperville AO: BC/RC/CC- 6pts; BD- 9pts
    • Down Range AO: all- 6pts
  • No Virtual Posting allowed
  • No Triple Taps allowed

Late Starts

  • Late Start Posts will count for the same amount of points as Early Start Posts.
  • For the duration of Lincoln Games, Late Start AOs will be recognized as the same AO as Early Start
  • Example: Complex and LS Complex are the same AO.

Double Taps

  • Double Taps only allowed; No Triple Taps allowed
  • If you double tap, you MUST STAY FOR COT. If you have time to double tap, you have time for COT. This is to help our Site Qs capture all PAX who attended and to protect the COT. Qs will be advised to keep it short and on point that week. Late Start Qs/SQs will expect many PAX coming late from other AOs.

Qing

  • Q signups open on a date set by the 1st F/Lizard Q and will be announced in advance. Black Diamond Qs are pre-assigned, not open for signup, and do count for Q points.
  • Q points can only be earned by Qing at F3 Naperville AOs. Qing outside Naperville or at Down Range AOs does not count.
  • During Lincoln Games week, Q slots are blocked and released later. Each PAX may secure one Q spot only. Once you have a Q spot, you may not claim additional slots for yourself or teammates.
  • If you accidentally snag more than one spot and don’t release extras immediately, you are ineligible for all Qing points. Ignorance is not an excuse—play fair, PAX. Bending the rules will result in team penalties.

Site-Qing

  • All PAX that are Site Qs will get an additional 3 points for the mandatory responsibilities carried out during this week.
  • When taking the group picture for the backblast, make sure you post a picture that has you included showing you are SQ that day

TEAM POINTS

Shield Lock

Teams may contribute premium or unique items (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), such as quality beverages, specialty coffee, or high-end supplements. Items should be thoughtful and intentional, with a minimum suggested value of $15 per item. Each team may contribute up to 15 Prize Pool items. Each item earns 5 points toward the team score. Teams may coordinate contributions internally; not every PAX is required to donate. Captains must confirm item has been purchased before the end of LG week.

The order in which prizes are distributed and any additional details will be announced by the end of Lincoln Games.

DRAFTING

There will be two separate drafts. The first draft is The Right Hand PAX Draft. The second draft is The Chaos Draft.

  • The Right Hand Man Draft will be held Sunday, April 12th, 2026.
  • The Chaos Draft will be held Sunday, April 26th, 2026.

Right Hand PAX Draft

The Right Hand PAX Draft will allow each captain to select one PAX to join his team two weeks before The Chaos Draft. Drafting order will be selected randomly and provided to captains on Monday, April 6th, 2026. Right Hand PAX is designed to support the Captain, not be the captain.

The Chaos Draft

The Chaos Draft will follow two weeks after the Right Hand PAX Draft and will be structured in a snake draft format. This order will be determined before the Right Hand PAX Draft and will be followed through the end of The Chaos Draft. This means that the captain who received the last draft pick during the Right Hand PAX Draft will receive the first pick during The Chaos Draft. This draft will have a specified amount of rounds followed by an auto-draft of any remaining PAX that HC’d.

Trading

  • Trades can be made only the night of the Chaos Draft.
  • Final trade approval must be confirmed by the LG Game Maker.

***Exceptions***

If you decide to participate in LGs after the HC window closes for the drafts, you can still participate. You will be assigned a team based on how the draft plays out. All PAX are still encouraged to HC prior to the drafts to ensure fairness across the board. Choosing not to HC will not be an allowed strategy to get on a desired team or stack a team.

NOTES

As commissioners of LG26, we reserve the right to make decisions on outcomes that go against the spirit of the games. The rules are stated. Follow them closely. Do not look for loopholes to exploit. May the best team win!

Rules Clarification

  • Free Agents

    • FNGs and Kotters are the only free agents.

    • A team can have up to a total of 10 free agents at this time.

    •  FNGs:
      • Any New F3 Naperville FNG that joined F3 AFTER the Right Hand PAX Draft is eligible as a Free Agent to join the team of the PAX that EH’d them
      • FNGs may also choose to be in the Chaos Draft

      • FNGs that join prior to RHP Draft must enter the Chaos Draft

    • Kotters:

      • Any PAX that hasn’t posted 90+ days BEFORE the Chaos Draft

      • Some Kotters may be ineligible as Free Agents based on previous LGs performance (*integrity of the competition clause*)

        • Those Kotters may participate but will either be in the draft or assigned to a roster based on when they join

        • Gamemaker/Commish will review past LG scores and make official decision on eligibility

Lincoln Games Committee

All rules and disputes for the Lincoln Games will be definitively decided by the Commissioners. The Commissioners for 2026 are Hootie (the F3 Naperville 1st Q) and Hank Hill (the Lizard Q).

A special thanks to the F3 Naperville “nerds”—Stay Puft, Snowden, and Giggles—who serve as the gamemakers. They are essential to the data collection process: Stay Puft created the score sheets, Snowden manages the draft software, and Giggles maintains the Slack environment and ensures all systems are connected.

Since December, many Pax have worked hard to make the annual Lincoln Games happen. Additional appreciation goes out to Bean Counter and Blues Clues for their support.

Good Luck! You'll Need It!
