Introduction

Picked this up from TPS Report, and was told the PAX had to either crab walk forward up the hill, or do 100 burpees. Since I just designed a workout around burpees, I thought, why not do both?

 

I’m sure there are plenty of reasons not to, but I don’t listen to that negative inner voice.

 

I took the Amazon description of brokeback mountain, and made a few changes. Hope it made someone laugh.

Mosey to hill

Circle up at base of hill – pax will smurf jack OYO until Q calls “drop” to high plank. Then down and up on Qs call for five merkins. Then call “Rise” and repeat. Total of 15 merkins.

The Thang

 

Thang 1 – The Ridge has crabs

 

Forward crab walk up the hill. Stop halfway up, drop and do 20 big boys, then up and continue crab walk to top. Mosey back to base.

 

Thang 2 – Burpback Mountain

 

One burpee at bottom of hill every round

 

Chopping feet up – 5 burpees

Mosey down

High knees up – 10 burpees

Mosey down

Sprint up – 15 burpees

Mosey down

Bernie Sanders up – 20 burpees

Mosey down

Right leg hop – 25 burpees

Mosey down

Left leg hop – 20 burpees

Mosey down

Walking lunges – 15 burpees

Mosey down

Frog jumps at top – 10 burpees

Mosey down

Walking Burpees – 5 burpees

 

Bottom of the hill burpees until six is in, or pick up the six

 

Thang 3 – no time. Save that fun for another Q.

Circle of Trust

This year is objectively worse than last year, and I’m not good with that. I’m trying to get back to the better, old normal, even if I fail. Part of that is working out, but part of that is also just having some fun.

I hope that the goofy theme for today’s Bootcamp made some PAX laugh. We need more of that.

Naked Man Moleskin

I never know if my workouts push anyone buy me, but I hope so. Every pax crab walked up the hill, UT from the sou ds of it, the additional groups that were on the far side all modified to backwards crab walks once I was out of sight. Boo. Half my group pushed it, and it sucked, but I am positive that it made us stronger.

But everyone performed a minimum of 102 burpees (took me 18 to get up the hill the final time, so 120 here). Whether the or not you were first or last, you can say you did 102 burpees in 30 minutes, snd that’s F3 strong, so thank you for letting me Q.
