The Thang
Welcomed Bob Ross back in the gloom after 6 weeks away, along with Algorithm, Wedding Planner, Silkscreen, Abu, StartUp, OCD, Cataracts, Pork Rinds, Clearcoat, Aladdin, Aguila. Blow Dry came in Hot, and we welcomed an FNG, El Paso Grande!
Wanted to blaze a new trail today so we headed west up Downer Place to Highland, turned left, to Garfield, turned left, down to Benton turned right, to Stolp, turned left, to Galena, turned left, to River, turned right and back to our starting point. About a 3 mile loop. Then onto to charge the hills on the three side streets next to the Flags lot. Hill streets on repeat until 5:56!
For a cool down:
25 American Hammers
Hamstring stretch 15 secs
Finished it off with a High Plank 5 Shoulder Tap Ring of Fire!
Circle of Trust
Humble yourself! Inspired by Aladdins’ example of leadership at last weeks RC, I encouraged guys to humble themselves. Ask a question if you don’t know something. Doesn’t matter what anyone thinks of you have the courage to say “I don’t know.” Also, I learned a great lesson in homily when I first started F3 2 yrs ago. I was very intimidated by how fit most of the pax were when I first started, and it took me a while to humble myself and realize (while pushing myself to get better) don’t feel bad that I’m not at everyone’s level of fitness. Whatever our level, get 1% better everyday! It would be so easy to get 1% worse. Do the hard thing!
Naked Man Moleskin
Loved welcoming Bob Ross back out in the gloom. Like a thoroughbred horse he flew out of the gate. Needed to remind him to work his way back up to his desired fitness level slowly! 6 weeks away and in the hospital! He accepted my words with grace and humbled himself just a little bit, while still building back up. Keep it up BR!
