Shout out to Wedding Planner, the only PAX out with an EC run this morning and he just came off conquering 75 Hard. This is F3 Naperville and WP is One. Bad. Dude. (In a good way) 🙂

Thang #1 Waterfalls and River Rox

  • 100 Waterfall Merkins by the River (PAX Plank while one PAX does 10 Merkins, rotating up to 100)
    • Mosey halfway down bridge
  • 100 Waterfall Dips (Repeat)
    • Mosey 2nd half across bridge, down to the river, grab two large rocks along side of bridge
  • 40 Y’s & T’s (Shoulder exercise in cadence – 1st 1/2 Rep = Y with rocks in hand, 2nd 1/2 Rep is a T with rocks in hand) 

Thang #2 La Luz Ladder

  • PAX lined up at end of bridge
  • Do 1 Burpee
  • Sprint to 1st Cone
  • Do 10 Merkins
  • Repeat with extended distance 2 Burpees to 20 Merkins, 3 Burpees to 30 Merkins, 4 Burpees to 40 Merkins, 5 Burpees to 50 Merkins. Pick up the six. 

Thang #3 Bad Dudes Tournament – Double Barrel Action

  • PAX split into two teams – One team on each side of the bridge lanes
  • 1st PAX carries 25lb Medicine ball 40 yards out, 40 yards back
  • All other PAX do series of Curls and OH Press until each PAX on the team carries the medicine ball
  • 1st team to complete medicine ball run, wins 
    • LoPan over Skeletor
    • Vigo over Cable Guy

Circle of Trust

I asked everyone to “Have A Nice Day”, lay on their six and think about the word “life” for 15 seconds. 

I shared a quote I heard from Denzel Washington recently “You’ll never see a UHaul behind a hearse” 

In other words, when we die, what do we take with us? Well we don’t take our possessions. All material things are left behind. Perhaps the better question is, what do we really leave behind?

What is the legacy we will leave? What is the memory we will leave? What is the impact we will leave?

I leave you all with this thought today gentlemen. “You’ll never see a UHaul behind a hearse”
