Introduction

It’s been raining for 7,123 days straight. That did not stop 6 PAX from showing up to get bigger, better, strong, faster in the 2022 Bad Dudes Tournament FINAL FOUR!

Thang #1 

  • Continued Mosey around long parking lot.
  • Waterfall Merkins on Q (10 count, 5 count, 1 count up to 1oo. PAX plank while one PAX does the rep count up)

Thang #2 

  • 2022 Bad Dudes Tournament Competition
    • PAX split into teams of 3
      • #7 JoBoo (Speaker City, Mellencamp, Sulley) vs
      • #11 Conan the Barbarian (Blues Clues, Reunite, CowBell)
    • 1 PAX would race another PAX from each team in Quarter Mile sprints
    • While running, the other PAX perform a series of OYO coupon exercises. I.E. 20 Curls, 20 OH Press, 20 Lawnmowers, etc
    • What the PAX did not know is they were not really racing the other team.
    • After the 1st heat, the way to earn a point is to beat your time from the 1st heat in your 2nd heat.
      • Mellencamp and Blues Clues earned points with faster times in the 2nd Heat vs. 1st Heat
      • This lead to a tie breaker!

Thang #3

  • Tie breaker
    • All PAX got 2 attempts to toss a 25lb medicine ball reverse, over their head for distance
    • Speaker City came up at 5:59am and beat Blues Clues to claim VICTORY!

 

Circle of Trust

We ended with “Have a Nice Day” and I asked everyone to think of the word “Power” for 15 seconds…

Everyone shared. I concluded with how today’s workout had aspects where you had to dig deep to find your extra “power” both physically and mentally.

  • When did you want to quit on the Waterfall Merkins?
  • When did you think you didn’t have enough in the tank to beat your 1st lap in your 2nd lap?
  • When did you feel the need to launch the medicine ball as far as you could because that meant something more?

Pay attention to these moments fellas. Know you all can go further when you put the time and thought in to find your “power”…your physical “power”, your mental “power”, and especially your higher “power”.
