Introduction
Fired up the pre-blast to invite all PAX out to the Pad for a fun Friday beatdown with no coupons! Love this AO, great options and lots of room. Always a good vibe!
Set the BC start at 5:15 and EC start at 4:45. Had a good group commit to EC, was looking foward to it!
Arrived at the AO around 4:38, set up some cones in the north lot for Thang 1, then got to the flag. Daisy and Mia were stretching and getting ready for the EC. Was a bit chilly, but decent for early January. Serena, Glenn and Shells came in a bit hot so we started a little late. EC target was the same, just over 3 mile loop, lets get it!
Got back to the flags and bunch of PAX were waiting/stretching. Solid crew! 1-2 minutes then we kicked it off with the principles and disclaimer was given…

The Thang
Thang 1
Merkin/Bonnie Blair Suicides
Start with 10 Merkins/10 Bonnie Blairs, run out to first cone and back.
Repeat for each cone for all six cones.
Once complete, mosey to west lot near turf field.
Thang 2
Arrived at west lot. Split the group in half and lined up on each side of the parking lot at one end.
Burpee shuffle down the lot, one burpee at each parking line.
Once all PAX complete, mosey to turf field….BUT it was locked. Had to pivot on Thang three, ran it in the parking lot instead.
Thang 3
Split the group into two groups by relative speed to stay together in groups.
First group indian runs to end of lot circle and back
Second group stays and performs reps together.
Switch and first group reps, while second group indian runs.
Each group repped flutter kicks, mountain climbers and plank jacks.
3 indian runs a piece. Then mosey to pavilion for small group work.
Thang 4
Split PAX into groups of 3.
One PAX did wall sit, second PAX held plank while third PAX ran up path to end of turf field and back.
All PAX made it through each position before we had to head back to flags.
Mosey back to flags just as it hit 6, recover recover!
Circle of Trust
CoT was similar to earlier in the week, but with different crew. Focused on sharing goals with others to help hold yourself accountable to your personal goals. Sharing your goals can also push others to set their own and push others to improve personally.
Naked Man Moleskin
Great group on PAX on a Friday was an awesome way to end the week!
Shout out to the EC crew for putting in the extra work!
Looking back at my plan, I should have prepared a bit for icey conditions as it was slick during all of the running. Disappointed the turf field was locked, but sometimes that’s the disruption we need to push through!
