Introduction

Birthdays only happen once a year but I decided to keep the party going this week after Monday’s Q at the Citadel and took the party down south to the Ridge!

PAX counted off by 2’s and formed 2 lines for an Indian Run to the 2 football fields to begin Thang #1

The Thang

PAX went to either field #1 or #2 based on their Indian Run line # to perform a ladder exercise using either B.L.I.M.P.S or B.O.M.B.S.

Field #1 started with B.L.I.M.P.S.

Field #2 started with B.O.M.B.S.

Cones were marked off at the goal line, 25 yard line, 50 yard line, other 25 yard line and other goal line.

PAX were to start at their goal line and complete 1 set of either B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S.

PAX then ran to next set of cones (25 yard line)to perform 2 sets of B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S. then run back to the goal line to do another 2 sets of B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S.

PAX then ran to third set of cones (50 yard line) to perform 3 sets of B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S. then run back to the goal line to do another 3 sets of B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S.

PAX then ran to fourth set of cones (other 25 yard line) to perform 4 sets of B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S. then run back to the goal line to do another 4 sets of B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S.

PAX then ran to fifth set of cones (other goal line) to perform 5 sets of B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S. then run back to the goal line to do another 5 sets of B.L.I.M.P.S. or B.O.M.B.S.

Once PAX completed their ladder, they went to the other field and completed the other ladder in the same fashion.

If PAX completed both fields of ladders, they went back to their original field to complete the same style of ladders starting at 6 at the goal line, 7 at the 25 yard line, 8 at the 50 yard line, 9 at the other 50 yard line and 10 at the other goal line, etc.

With 10 minutes left in the workout I asked each field to pick up the cones on the field and run them in hoping every PAX would have at least 2-3 cones.

We then moseyed back to the flags for Mary.

 

6MOM:

Since it was such a bit hit on Monday and the workout was based on acronyms, I decided to do the H.R.P.C.M.B Ring of Fire again!!!  Always a crowd pleaser thanks to FIB!  Starting with Vern we each did one rep of H.R.P.C.M.B.’s as all PAX held high plank until 6am.

Prayers for Crabgrass’ family as they grieve the loss of his brother, Mr.Miyagi as he battles cancer, Randy Levine, Jeremy Baker, Anna Caroline as they also battle cancer, Ray Banks as he recovers from a stroke and anyone else in your hearts that need prayers.

Naked Man Moleskin

My second Q of the week after starting my 45th year on the planet with a Q at The Citadel on Monday June 29th.  First time in my history with F3 that I Q’d twice in one week!  Both Q’s this week were at AO’s that I had never Q’d before at.  I was only a Black Panther guy before Monday.  I put out a challenge to everyone who attended the workout to break out of their comfort zone a little more and step up to lead at unfamiliar locations as I had done this week.  I need to get out of my comfort zone more and F3 has brought that opportunity by leading men I may not know or know very little about.  I look forward to being more uncomfortable this year and to experience different AO’s by either just going there to participate in the workout or by leading and being a lot more uncomfortable!  Either way I think it will be good for me and may even be fun for others? Just be ready for more H.R.P.C.M.B.’s in the near future………..
