Introduction

Love the 25 minute drive to THE WOOD…. Windows down… Cranking some Slayer and Anthrax, getting my mind right for what was to be a bad ass beatdown.  (Looking back, I am confident that was achieved)… Cold morning… Dark AF… Heavy Metal music… Can not beat it…. Arrived around 4:45 am to get set up and do a quick jog around the AO….

The Thang

DORA BURPEES/BLOCKIES

PAX 1 sprints from cone to cone while PAX 2 does burpees…

PAX 2 sprints from cone to cone while PAX 1 does burpees…  GOAL WAS 100 total

1/2 way through I switched it up to do blockies…  We killed it for about 10 total minutes.

After that we John Cusacked to the HILL of FILTH….  This sucked 🙂

Started with 25 overhead presses OYO

Followed by 25 lunges uphill

Followed by decline merkins (feet towards top of hill)

Followed by slow lunges down the hill

We did this a few times

Followed by numerous hill sprints… Numerous hill burpees…. Numerous merkins… BONNIE BLAIRS…. SPRINTS….. Burpees…. Bear crawls….  Today was a great burn (I hit 780 calories burnt on the tracker)

Circle of Trust

Since I was late to sign to Q, I delivered my same COT from yesterday at the Colosseum.  I lucked out that no one from the previous day BC was at the Wood to hear a repeat 🙂
