It’s pretty cold and I’m wearing shorts so I need to get warm fast lol
Let’s get to it.
Warm-O-Rama
The first exercise is Butt-Kicks-30 IC
The wind in really going , Shells mentioned wind is going East. I checked and it was ~21mph according to Garmin and boy did we feel it lol.
The next exercise a gentlemen’s pace lap to bless the bridge. Nothing crazy guys! lol .3 of a mile Done.
We all mosey the bridge then make it back to the starting point.
That concludes WoR
Let’s begin.
The Thang
I thought to myself how can I we cover a lot of ground but compliment all paces?
Well an Indian Run lol
Line it up gentlemen! I give instruction of the first thangg and where we will end up in case anyone falls out the line. The first lap is a 1.5 mile route to the next destination. Boy did this escalate quickly lol Blood get’s going fast and all pax get the guns blazing! SEND IT! Each pax get’s to the front of the line over and over. We push low 7 if not sub 7 for other until we get to the next thang. A few pax fall a bit behind but the Indian run continues , as stated before the start we all knew the final destination. Although once a number of pax make it to the end we all go back and pick up the six. DONE!
1.8 miles covered rather quickly. We briefly gather up and i give instruction for the next thangg.
La Serpiente. This is a known route we use at La Luz which zig zags west of the flags with some elevation. I enjoy this route because it really makes you fuck around and find out lol . Wind Was brutal! This was OYO one full lap and back to where all are standing now. Those who finish early back track until you find the six.
We’re off, Serena leads the pack but surely the gaps begin to build lol This route is about 1.4 miles
We all make it back and get ready for the next thang. 10 count to reset while I give instructions.
Indian Run back to the original location , Line it up! Stay close and keep pushing. Less get itt duu!
This time around much less mumble chatter and we all huff and puff while we send it to the front of the line. Pax pushing love seeing the effort! Another 1.5 miles logged. Hault! We pick up the six , reset and continue the indian run for another mile until we make it to a parking garage.
Oyo all the way up the parking garage and we’ll reset at the top, go!
A number of pax lap the top floor as we wait for all to get there. We gather up and I ask to form a line , Indian Run all the way down lol Lesss go!
Re-synch at the first floor. Line it up follow me to the next destination.
A second parking garage lol much more incline. Same set up Oyo all the way to the top , Move!
We gather up at the top floor and for the sake of time we take the stairs down.
Final push guys , line it up ! Indian run to the flags. Roughly half a mile. Please make sure to empty the tank. SEND IT MF LESSgo! lol
We make it to the flags 5:58 and lap half the bridge as mary.
Shy of 7 miles logged.
6 o’clock recover recover.
Circle of Trust
If it’s humanly possible and you want it, chase it. Endure the pain the struggle needed to obtain those goals. You are worth it, LFG.
Prayer for Redfin’s friend that was unexpectedly lost a number of months ago as he just found out. Reach out to friends sooner and make sure you take advantage of the time we have.
Naked Man Moleskin
What a group this morning. Amazing effort by everyone expect for Serena I don’t think he ever gets tired, he was leading from the front the entire time lol. I noticed Kapusta got a few PR’s which was cool, we all seen his effort as well. Snowden may have curse at me in Ukraine when I told him not to ease off the gas during the Indian runs but I didn’t understand lmao. I wanted to show the guys around La Luz and I feel we did that today. Everyone did awesome and I’m glad I was able to lead these men. Thank you all who attended and hope to see you all again soon.
Until next time , Road Trip.
