Introduction

It had been awhile since my last Q – over a month.  Even longer since I led BP. I was ready to go. Finished writing up the workout while laying in bed knowing I had to wake up in 6 hours. I set my phone on my nightstand ready to go with two alarms. Before I knew it, it was 4:25 and then 4:30. When I looked at my phone after the second alarm, I realized I was super lucky that my phone did not die as my battery was on life support. I probably almost would have missed my first Q!  Luckily that fate was not my destiny…today.

Warm-O-Rama

As it has been recently, it was super cold out in the vast wind tunnel of BP. Temp was low single digits and wind chill was negative double digits. So best to keep moving as much as possible to stay warm.
Wedding Planner was already warmed up from an EC run.

The Thang

Mosey as a group to Prairie Point school lot.

Thang 1: BLIMPS

Partner up. P1 runs a lap, P2 does amrap exercise until partner returns. Then switch. Each PAX ran 6 laps.

Thang 2:

No time for hill work. We only had about 4 minutes til Mary.

Mosey to pavilion and do 50 stepups and 50 dips on the tables.

I touched on the difficulty in managing work related stress and trying not to bring it home even though many are already working at home anyway. It is a tough balance and F3 gives us a good outlet.

Naked Man Moleskin

Another cold, yet successful workout. Boxcutter and Tonka were setting the pace during BLIMPS. One Bar and Wedding Planner were kicking a$$ and taking names. Crambone was pushing YHC til the end. A solid body weight workout with a couple miles of running mixed in. All in all, it was a good morning.
