Introduction

Rolled into the LP around 4:45 to scope out the landscape.  Wanted to make sure paths/lots were plowed enough for the planned beatdown. Set up some cones for Thang 1 and started a few warm up laps solo to stretch out the legs and get warmed up.

After a few back and forth, checked my watch at 5:12, still no PAX.  After the onslaught of FOMO in the preblast thread, I was hoping my two HCs were fartsacking.  But never fear!  Moonlight rolled in right at 5:13 and Cousin Eddie came in hot shortly after in true Cousin Eddie fashion…

I had set up 5 cones approx. 20 ft apart in the north lot. PAX worked OYO

10 merkins at first cone run to second cone and do 10 mountain climbers, run back to first cone

20 merkins at first cone run to third cone and do 20 mountain climbers, run back to first cone

30 merkins at first cone run to third cone and do 30 mountain climbers, run back to first cone

40 merkins at first cone run to third cone and do 40 mountain climbers

Mosey to east to parking lot near baseball fields

BOMB Circuit

25 Shoulder Taps

25 Big Boys

25 Carolina Dry Docks

25 Bobby Hurlys

Run parking lot loop

PAX Completed 4 Circuits OYO

Mosey back to Thang 1 to pick up cones and continued mosey to pavilion

 

Thang 3

Pavilion wall sit with rotating Rocky Balboas

1 PAX does 40 Rocky Balboas while other PAX perform 90 degree wall sit

Rotate PAX through 1 at a time while remaining PAX wall sit

Performed multiple rotations (maybe 6?)

Mosey back to flags for Mary

Held plank variation for 4 min (high plank, low plank, left up, right up, etc.)

 

 

 

Circle of Trust

Due to recent events I shifted my COT message at the last minute. Last night, I was one of the PAX that witnessed the unfortunate event of Bunker breaking his leg at the F3 soccer match. This hit home as I’ve had a similar injury, though many years ago. Its brutal, its debilitating, its demoralizing and significantly impacts your life.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Bunker and his family as they will be dealing with this injury for a long time, hopefully no long term impacts.

It got me thinking about others that have injuries or illnesses, whether long term or short, and how it impacts their lives day to day. During this time, I started reflecting on my own physical health and my families physical health and how we don’t always take time to be truly grateful when we are in good health. I encouraged PAX to be thankful for their own heath and to reach out to those who may need help (as is the F3 way) getting back on track or on the road to recovery.

 

Prayers for Bunker, Cousin Eddie’s M and Mother, for my niece Brooke.

 

Naked Man Moleskin

Solid crew with moderate mumblechatter this morning.  Spent most of our time reflecting on Bunker’s injury from the night before. That is until Cousin Eddie started recruiting us for Early Iron Lion tomorrow LOL.
