We are going to stay together as a group and perform as many exercises as we can until 8 am.
There are four stations (see cones) at each corner of the parking lot, and at each station there are playing cards from a F3 Deck of Cards.
Someone will draw a card and it’ll have the name of an exercise printed on it. If it’s a club card we will move to station #1 and do the exercise there. If it’s a diamond, we will move to station #2. If it’s a heart, we move to station #3. And, if it is a spade card, we will move to station #4.
The number of reps will be determined as follows: if it’s a number card we’ll add ten to that number, if it’s a royal card we’ll do 25 reps, and if it’s an Ace we’ll do 100 reps.
Some exercises will require coupons or using the picnic tables or performing the exercise for a certain distance. I’ll give you more instructions when we draw those cards.
When you are done performing an exercise, hold a plank or squat position until everyone else has completed the exercise.
When we move from one station to another we’ll usually mosey unless I tell you otherwise.
Circle of Trust
There’s been a lot of transition going on lately here at BP. We had to quickly find three Site Q replacements for Boy Sandwich on Monday and Munson on Friday, and Sir Mix on Saturday. So, if you don’t know by now we have Animal House as SQ for Ruck Club on Monday, Title IV as SQ for Boot Camp on Wednesday, Ringo as SQ for Boot Camp on Thursday, I’m SQ for Run Club on Friday, and Sonny Bono as SQ for Boot Camp on Saturday. Included with all that, I’m replacing Sir Mix as SQ Champion for Black Panther today, and I just started a weekly Q Source yesterday at Panera.
That’s quite a change in the line up and quite a change with my involvement with F3 in a short period of time. But, I know it’s you HIMs that will support us as we do our responsibilities for this AO. I welcome all this change because it’s our opportunity to grow and to practice leadership skills that will help us become better men.
Yesterday’s Q source material on Disruption mentioned how great leaders accelerate throughout their life. And just discovering this, I know I have a long way to go, but now is a good time and place to start. One thing is for sure, I don’t believe there’ll be a better opportunity than now to start accelerating and being someone who leads for the sake of others and not myself. I don’t think there could be anything more fulfilling than being someone who puts the interests of others before himself. I know many of you have already shown me that it is possible.
We closed with a prayer of thanks, Sky Q’s help to specific individuals, and a general blessing on all who posted this morning.
