Introduction

Join YHC at the Citadel tomorrow and help me celebrate another spin around the sun.  We’re gonna do a 43 minute out and back run.  Quick warmup, so be ready to move at 5:15 am.  All speeds welcome – You vs. You.

I’ll post the route in the thread later.

Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.

I’m not a professional and am not aware of any injuries you may have.  Modify as necessary.

Good Mornings

The Thang

43 minute out and back run with a twist.  We followed the trail northeast to Oakhurst Drive before turning back and doing laps around the creek west of the bridge.  After the 2 minute WoR, this took us right until 6 am.

Circle of Trust

I find myself reflecting on life and legacy fairly often(a few times a year), but often during this time.  I got to thinking last night about our finite time on earth and whether my purpose on Earth was sufficient in God’s eyes.  We all go through life not knowing when the end will come.  I try to reflect on legacy often enough to evaluate my own purpose and whether I have done enough in God’s view.

We all contribute to several organizations, know numerous people and try to help others.  Keep on striving to be the best version of yourself and think about your legacy and what others will say about you when our time is up.  I found this quote recently on legacy:

‘Carve your name on hearts, not tombstones.  A legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you.’

Be well and do good!

Naked Man Moleskin

Great running conditions this morning.  The weather was great and we had a great group.  My heart was full to see these fine HIM’s who I respect deeply.  There were several familiar faces and a few guys that I can’t wait to get to know better.  Kudos to everyone for pushing each other to get 1% better today.  Thank you Sputnik and Woodwind for pushing me over 5 miles.  Shoutout to Fargo who eclipsed 7 miles including EC!  Thanks Ice Tea and Sadie for picking up the 6…and everyone in between for striving to be the best version of you.
