Introduction
12 Pax showed up for a warm but blustery RC at DT. We had some unexpected appearances from a few pax who didn’t HC – the more the merrier!
Warm-O-Rama
Mosey to nearby parking lot. Motivators, Tappy Taps, Imperial Walkers
The Thang
12 Pax showed up for a warm but blustery RC at DT. We started with an out and back totalling 2 miles and then moved on to some interval training in a parking lot. Mosey for approximately 100 yards and sprint 100 the next 100 yards. Rinse and repeat until we were running low on time.
We then moved to the hill for a finisher. Pair up with another Pax of relative equal speed, with one getting a 5 yard head start. The chase up the hill was on – if you got tagged, you do 10 merkins. If you don’t get tagged, the chaser does 10 merkins. We only had time for 2 rounds but I think that was plenty because we were GASSED!

I saw this quote and thought it was very applicable to my life. I am risk averse and frugal and my M sometimes has to talk me into doing things. I am almost always happy that we do them (vacations or whatever) and thankful for the time we spend together as a family. I encourage you all to think about that as you venture forward into 2021.
