Introduction
Invited all PAX to join me for 60 minutes of fun at DT for a Black Diamond workout.
Game plan was set and ready for a good mix of cardio ending with a coupon heavy ladder. I woke up early to get out a scope out the areas I planned to use. Drove to the North Central track as this was supposed to be the scene for Thang 1 only to find it was chained up and closed. Assuming for the holiday break. Modify as needed they say! Moved Thang 1 to the parking garage by Indigo hotel.
Amphitheater was all good, swung into the parking lot by municipal building to chalk up the ladder exercises. Back to the flags as PAX rolled in.
Coupons set aside by the flags and we circled it up…

Circle of Trust
This time of year, I always think about family and the importance of slowing down on the day to day and spending quality time with family as much as possible. Reach out and give those you maybe haven’t seen in a while a call to catch up. For me, the holidays have always been focused on quality family time.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!
Naked Man Moleskin
Had to punt on this plan a bit. Was a little worried when I discovered 15 minutes before the Q that the track was closed. Was planning on indian run out to the track and running stairs, but was no longer an option! I think the 5 level parking garage and stairwells worked decent as a replacement.
Also modified the amphitheater plank shuffle once I saw we had 20+ PAX coming. Doesn’t work well with a bunch of PAX, want to keep everyone moving so shifted to the Durkin, Incline Merkin and Dip shuffle. This way everyone was moving in sync.
I knew coming in, the final ladder was going to be hefty, but wanted to give everyone something that hopefully pushed them to their limit at the end of the hour. Apparently it wasn’t enough for Smokey as he was out well ahead of the pack crushin’ it!
Special props to Stay Puft and Wire Nut for coming out on their first BDBC!
Well done men and thanks for coming out!
