I shared with the PAX 3 Walter Payton Quotes:
- “I want to be remembered like Pete Rose. ‘Charlie Hustle.’ I want people to say, ‘Wherever he was, he was always giving it his all.”
— Walter Payton - “Never die easy. Why run out of bounds and die easy? Make that linebacker pay. It carries into all facets of your life. It’s okay to lose, to die, but don’t die without trying, without giving it your best.”
— Walter Payton - “Well, they call me Sweetness, And I like to dance, Runnin’ the ball is like makin’ romance, We had the goal since training camp, To give Chicago a Super Bowl champ, And we’re not doin’ this, Because we’re greedy, The Bears are doin’ it to feed the needy, We didn’t come here to look for trouble, We just come here to do, The Super Bowl Shuffle” -Sweetness
For me, Walter Payton was my favorite player because he worked his ass off and had a blast doing it. He is and was an inspiration for how I want to live my life.
A year ago on June 16th 2021 I got officially divorced and this year June 2022 (fingers crossed) I’m about to close on a new house with my girlfriend as we blend families. It’s been really hard man. Really hard. It’s required hustle, no quit, doing things right and wrong, and a lot of fun too. I always say how much can change in a year, looking back, looking forward, looking to where we stand now.
Just like today, we have the opportunity to rise to the occasion today, right now. Especially when we do hard things like that hill we took on today. Doing hard things, hustling, having fun. This is what creates the future. Keep going fellas.
Prayers.

That hill stopped most if not all of us at some point today. I know after that I want to get more EC hill work in now. You down, holler.
