Yesterday during Q Source’s King Leadership conversation Dingo reminded me of one of my favorite quotes. I knew it yet not verbatim nor the originator. It got the wheels upstairs turning and I figured it wouldn’t be hard to find. It wasn’t after I googled a few key words.
“Chains of habits are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken.” -Warren Buffet
Dingo used a great analogy and if you missed it good thing you’ve already arrived. The rest of us are still on the learning journey.
I ask myself what habits in my life are too light to be felt yet I know deep inside they’ll have consequences later in life.
Prayers for Carly – Townie’s M celebrating her 50th Birthday, our brother Baby Boss and the two others who passed, our brother Radio Flyer as he recovers from knee surgery, Laimbeer, Hotbox & all those left unspoken.
Naked Man Moleskin
What a bad ass morning at DT. We had a fire, happy and energetic crew. At the cafe they were enjoying themselves too much so I had to reel them back in. When in charge, TAKE CHARGE. GTE Shhhhhhh!!!
Things got heated pretty quick in those garage stairs. The bags sealed our lips pretty quick as we carried them 15 flights. When we went back to the hill I knew they’d get thrown a curveball. Dingo’s laugh on Mary Lou’s video says it all. Special shout out to HIM, Mary Lou covering our six last minute. Gordon’s had a high fever and smartsacked.
The light dust of snow was the cherry on top the F3 sundae. Next week we’ll be serving families with Love Your Neighbor in Wheaton.
Stop being Less!
