Circle of Trust
Last night my wife and I had to take our dog, Guinness, to the ER vet. We had him there on Christmas Eve and we knew last night would be our last trip. We adopted the dog 12+ years ago because my daughter, Riley, was deathly afraid of dogs and we thought the only way to cure her of this was, of course, to get her a dog. It worked. She and Guinness were best friends immediately. It was so tough telling her what was about to happen and watching her cry so hard. She had to leave for a play at school and we still had to wait for my son to get home from volleyball practice. When he walked in and saw his mom, aunt and dad sitting around Guinness, he knew what was going on. I was so proud of the first thing to come out of his mouth … “Where’s Riley and how is she?” This kid, who most of the time I consider to be selfish (17 year old) was only worried about his little sister. It was an incredible feeling.
Today, make a concentrated effort to be the best version of you. Make a positive impact on everyone you encounter.

There is no excuse for being late, especially when you’re the q. I was a minute or two late and am sorry I let down my brothers. However, we are surrounded by leaders and one of those leaders stepped up and got the party started. Thank you Rusty!
