Introduction

Stopped at Dunkin on the way in to grab Hot Coffee, and Donuts for the guys once we completed the workout.  Putting the Box O Joe in a cooler wrapped in towels kept it nice and hot……Arrived onsite, pretty sure there was a kid in an SUV hanging out in the parking lot smokin the reefer, as the smell was pretty apparent in the air.  Went to a spot in the grass and put up the two signs I made, one for Hudson and the other for his parents, laid flowers out with the signs.  Once Gopher arrived we staged the flags (Neither of which was a Wood flag) flanking both sides of the sign area.  Pax were already forming upon completion, ready to get this tribute workout under way

Thank you for everyone that came out here today to do the Hudson Fryar Challenge, this was to support an F3 brother that most of us have never met, and we showed our support for him and his family in a way that we knew we could.  Today I want to talk about cherishing things, not becoming complacent, Living life to the fullest.  I dont mean go out and Sky Dive, or jump off a bridge with a piece of elastic attached to you, What I am saying is dont take the little things for granted.  Go home, hug your kids, tell them you love them, hug your wives tell them you love them, tell them you appreciate them.  As we have heard things can change in an instant, really realize what you have.  You will not see me at an F3 2nd F event that happens on a Friday, and thats because my 2.5 year old daughter and I have a tradition.  She goes to a babysitter, and does homework there, like matching, coloring, cutting and pasting, well every Friday night after dinner we sit at the table and she goes through all the homework she has brought home, she tells me stories about them, why they are certain colors, or how she figured out how to match this to that.  I cherish that moment and I will never give that up as long as she wants to do it too.  Yeah I know eventually she will get sick of Daddy, except when she wants money….. but I will hang on to that as long as possible.  Seriously dont take things for granted, realize what you have in friends, family, each other……. It can be gone in an instant.

Let us pray

Our heavenly father, I thank all of the men that came out here today to do the Hudson Fryar Tribute, we ask that you watch over this little boy that now walks with you.  We ask that you watch over Russ and Kaitlyn as we cannot imagine the pain that they are in, but they need you at this time to give them the strength to get through this.  We ask that you watch over all of our F3 brothers and their friends and family.  We all know someone who needs your special prayer, we ask that you grant that and take a moment of silence to think of those people (10 seconds of silence) our father help us become better today than yesterday, and better tomorrow than today, in your name we pray, Amen
