Ruck club mañana @ La 
Bring your rucks, weighted vest’s or just your happy self. We’ll have some extra’s to share so don’t overthink it. I’m thinking a stroll into town exploring Aurorita La Bella with some stairs along the way. HC below and I’ll SYITG (see you in the gloom) LFG!!!

Form two lines facing the river, pick up as many or as little sandbags as we want. Roadtrip yells, “Take them all,” or course…OH GREAT!!!
The Thang
A simple out and back with a few sprinkled surprises. Bags at the front setting the pace with the intention of staying together. We did a poor job in the beginning yet when penalties were added we got our act together quick. The first penalty came south of Jakes but north of New York St. We hit 5 sandbag clears while the rest held squat. Everyone got a crack at it. We proceeded towards Water St yet stopped at the Aurora Rotary monument before the Galena crossing. Here I copied the sandbag toss we perform while forming a circle (we’re all sitting down). Recover and lets form up again. Mosey on Water St to Benton St, recover. In that portion the idea of hydro burpees was birthed. I made it CLEAR it was completely optional and only to do it if they wanted to (they didn’t know what however BR had a good idea). Hydro burpee action on the fountains across the old Public Library. It was EPIC. I said the next exercise I’ll demonstrate and just hopped in. RT, 1Bar, Zubaz, CC and BR followed. I couldn’t believe BR jumped in, that alone was worth my morning. One Piece our FNG was probably thinking WTF did Pork Chop drag me to, I honestly didn’t care what he thought. I figured we’ll either blow him in or out, his smile from ear to ear was clear which way he blew. We saddled up and headed back to the flags. I like showcasing the downtown area so I always take my favorite routes. We arrived back at the flags @ 0555 and we had a little friendly sandbag race competition. The coolest part of that race was when team one couldn’t pick their guy and One Piece rose to the occasion. by 0559.30 we were back @ the flags.

I shared with the PAX how I went on a long run this past Sunday. It was in the middle of the day right after morning service. I asked my oldest 2.0 if she wanted to tag along (20 miles) and of course she said no way Jose. My M overheard my ask and volunteered to join. Two revelations; The first was I couldn’t believe I was about to do that solo (don’t recommend) and two I couldn’t of done it without her support. I wouldn’t of dehydrated without that extra 40oz of water. Shit, without the moral support alone I would of broke, at least sooner cause I broke at mile 18.5. As the word says, I obtain favor from the Lord and I am grateful for that.
If you have a good lady, value her. If you have a bad lady, get rid of her. You must value yourself first in order to value her second. If you’ve lost a good one, learn and keep working on becoming who you need to attract the lady of your desires.
