Introduction
2 Year Manniversary here and it’s meant to much to me. I wanted to bring some energy, mix it up a bit, and have some fun with this Q today. Pre-blast mentioned that I was unable to find the backblast from my FNG date, but I mentioned that all I could recall from that first day was that I got a cool name, thought I joined a cult, and that I couldn’t wait to go back the next day.

The Thang
Did a few thangs today to mix it up and work many parts-
Mosey to back of high school with some butt kickers, high knees, and karaoka.
With 22 pax we split into 2 groups and shuffled side to side down the parking lines in the middle of the lot.
Wall sit for 1 minute.
20 Merkins
Wall sit for 1 Minute
Did the side shuffle back down the parking lines
Mosied back to the flags, will in transit had to get in order of which month you had your FNG data, by month, not year.
Got back to the flags and did some tabata with jump rope between. 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off.
Curls, Overhead press, squeeze coupon foot bridge, chest press, big boys. 2 cycles
Merkin ring of fire followed by Freddie Mercurys until 6AM. Ended right on time as planned
Circle of Trust
Took the political question of “Are you better off now than 2 years ago?” and explained how I am better but I’m dealing with stuff with going back to working in the office and missing my time out ITG. Mentioned how we need to be thermostats and set the mood when we get home from work. Not always easy, but it goes a long way – we’d hate if we heard our kids had rough days all the time and they probably don’t want to hear it from us either. Take the time to do your best and make the most out of the chances you have to work out, explain your day, etc.
Naked Man Moleskin
This was an incredible day and I am so thankful and humbled by the support of those that came out to celebrate 2 years. I think my COT came off a bit more negative than I had wanted, but I appreciated the support afterwards too. I do struggle with this new world we’re in and I really miss getting out with the guys 4-5 times per week. I am so grateful for the chances I’ve had to make myself better and apply myself to other things in the community.
So many HIMs in attendance today and I could have called out each one for helping me in various ways throughout my past 2 years. I know that I have worked side by side with each pax there today and they have picked me up. I only hope that I have done the same with them along the way. You never know who needs a helping hand or an encouraging comment to get you through. It’s not always just at the workout these things pop up. The lessons and skills we learn can be applied across the board in so many facets of life.
Special thanks to Cousin Eddie for finding the instagram post from my first workout. I think I look a little better and I DEFINITELY feel better than I did 2 years ago.
Great job to Speaker City on the 6 today. He left no man behind and left no man where he found him, except when we were at the flags and it was time to go home.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making me the Sulley I am today. My only hope is that I am able to find ways to help you when you need that push. There’s a lot of “me” in this but a heck of a lot more “we”. YHC out, LFG!!!
