Introduction
6/9! Nice! It takes two baby! We make each other stronger! Let’s help each other stay hard…together…at the same time! Grab Yuri (Station 69; Sandler; look it up) and get ready for a whole lot of sixty-nine…..reps? The nature of 69 means two people, together, doing the same thing, at the same time, working towards the same goal, but reversed, and also no eye contact (physically difficult). Each exercise will either be 69 reps, OR with a partner where the partners work reversed, either in position or in cadence. When one is up, the other is down in their rep.

The Thang
Thang 1: Merkins of 69. One PAX on his 6 with legs straight out. Other PAX assumes Merkin position over him, each PAX is holding the others ankles. Essentially, a Derkin with PAX on his 6 holding up the other’s ankles. Top PAX does 15 reps. Both PAX get up to run to cone and back, but one PAX does Bernie Sanders and the other Moseys. Rinse/repeat until Q says stop.
Thang 2: 69s on the hill. Same concept as an 11s workout. Kneeling Shoulder Press x6 to start, Crawl Bear down hill, BBSUs x9, Bear Crawl back up hill. Repeat, but go up to 9 with KSP and down to 6 with BBSUs. Rinse/repeat until Q says stop.
Thang 3: 69! 69! 69!. Working with a partner, each PAX will complete 69 reps for Merkins, Curls, and Box Jumps, however they want to break it up and in any order. BUT, they must do the same exercise and maintain reverse cadence with each other.
Mary: Leg tosses. PAX on 6, other PAX stands over facing feet. PAX on 6 does leg raises and standing PAX throws the feet back down in any direction. Work for 1 minute, switch, rinse/repeat until Q says stop. LBCs to 6am

Naked Man Moleskin
I will start with how awesome the demonstration for the Merkins of 69 was. I am thoroughly impressed that Urban Cowboy was such a good sport to be the first to show the ridiculousness of what I was asking us to do. It was hilarious and I was happy everyone else got into it as well. I made it the first exercise so that we weren’t sweating all over each other. It was awkward, but funny as hell!
I picked up this Q because The Bear had 2 of the 3 slots empty, so I grabbed one. It ended up being 6/9 and I grabbed this concept and ran with it. It was initially just going to be a funny joke to put into the Pre-Blast. But, this concept of breaking down what 69 is really helped me develop this workout. Two people, working towards the same goal, but reversed, and no eye contact. Sometimes I hate OYO because there is little accountability. I liked the partner workout and then the added reverse nature of position or cadence to kept it fun. I think it worked out really well and maybe took this concept of 69 to a different, somewhat non-joking, legitimate level.
The 69 reps portion of the workout was difficult. I was fading fast, and was ready to bail on the last 9 reps of Merkins. But Space Force kept it going and pushed me to finish strong.
