Introduction
This morning at the Bear was a sight to behold as 8 Pax stormed the Bears 3 basketball courts for a hoops inspired beat down. What started as a light mist, quickly escalated to a downpour- which did not stop this crew from pushing and even playing full court 4 on 4 -splashing in Js and splashing in puddles as the mumble chatter reigned.

Station 1: Throw-Ins: Pax 1; Standing Coupon Chest Press (like in-bounding pass) Pax 2: Star Jumps (block in-bound pass)
Station 2: Transitions: Full Court Layup (Pax 1) /Defense (Pax 2) (dribbling in the puddles made this really tough)
Court 2:
Station 1: Inside Play: Pax 1: Mikan Drill (Pax 1- putbacks/layups at speed using both sides of basket/hands) Pax 2: Jump Rope
Station 2; Bench: Pax 1: Wall Sits; Pax 2: Freddie Mercury (gotta get on the bike to stay warm)
Court 3: Outside Play: Station 1 Pax 1: Around the world 3 pointers; Pax 2: One Bounce Rebounds
Station 2: Loose Ball: Pax 1: Broad Jump (save ball out of bounds, don’t land on the slick grass) Pax 2: Burpees (loose ball on ground)
Gassers (modified due to rain) to 2x sprint baseline to baseline; 1x Karocka
Played full court 4 on 4 for the next 20 minutes- black/red shirts vs blue/green
Mosey (full speed) back to the flag (1/4 mile)
Circle of Trust
The importance of altruism vs giving for self-aggrandizement is something I have been struggling with. Trying to give for the right reasons, vs giving to show others you gave, or to fill a void. Ultimately, as I reflect on this- its putting myself in the shoes of the recipient and they (he/she/the org) need rather than what I want to give.
Naked Man Moleskin
I had an alternative workout planned under the safety of the pavilion, but the Pax wanted to stay in the gloom of the misty to rainy to deluge on the basketball court. Tractor Beam scraped up his knee, but otherwise, nobody got hurt- which was a huge relief! Also, Space Force loves pink drinks.
