We lined up on the path. While one partner worked the other ran up the hill and touched a Pine.
We performed 100 merkins, 200 LBC’s and 300 SSH (single count) I called it before we finished the last set to ensure we got back to the flags on time.

I worked in an up hill sprint and a parking lot sprint as we headed back to the flags.

Growing up my dad always shared his nuggets of wisdom. Often in Spanish since my father was born in Mexico.
Whenever I was or am getting ahead of myself he would stop me and say,”Son, don’t count your chicks before they hatch,”
Yesterday I saw a meme of a guy celebrating what he thought was a first place triathlon only to lose it to the man who celebrated when he crossed the finish line. The guy was literally two feet away from the finish if not closer, unfortunately for him he counter his chicks before they hatched.
Immediately I thought of my pops and how his wisdom continue helping me today.
Am I teaching my kids as my father taught I?
Maybe you didn’t have a father or had one who never taught you anything…
Will you continue that trauma or does the puck stop with you?
