Due to my work schedule coming up to the weekend I have to work an overnight shift which lands on my Manniversary, so I decided that I will use this day for marking my 1 year. My journey through F3 has been a life-changing experience. It started with getting a message from my brother-in-law Thumb Drive, many of those HIMS that have posted with me before had heard that when I first looked at the website, I thought it was a cult. I thought to myself what is this, I am supposed to be Christian so why am I joining a cult but then once I came out my first day for Rudy’s VQ at the Citadel I thought to myself this is crazy, how can anyone run with a cement block(Coupon) and then do a set of workouts for 45min without a breather, once it was all over the CoT Rudy gave was an eye-opener for me and over the course of last year meeting so many HIMs and building relationships and fellowships I started to see a change in my life. In my past I was making all the wrong choices in life, I was lying to my M and family about the life choice habits I was making, I was letting evil run my life, until July 24th, 2020, is when all that went away. I decided that it was time to change, I started pushing myself to go as hard as I can to post and learn from all these HIMs such as Aladdin, boxcutter, thumb drive, and so many more, but most I looked at and inspired me to keep pushing when it gets hard, don’t think just do, and you are better than what you think was Tonka. The first couple of weeks of coming out he had my 6 and pushed me to even do more when I started to get tired, he even gave me the opportunity to be a site q for the early citadel. In my life the last year me and my M had a life-changing experience, one of the most difficult times in our lives; From mid-July up to October 18th at 17 weeks pregnant my M and I gave birth to our son Angel Emmanuel that we lost during preterm labor. It was the most painful situation to see your M go through, but I know God has a plan for us and will bless us when his time is right. This brotherhood has helped me and my M out through that difficult time and we were so grateful for everything, even when I posted a couple of days after Aladdin and his M gave us a symbol that our boy is watching over us with a teddy bear that he had posted with flags to let me know that he posted at the BC with me that day. Since then, I have kept pushing myself more and more because my M is my motivation but also my son Angel. This is more than a workout, social gathering, coffee mubblechatter, THIS IS A BROTHERHOOD, A FOUNDATION TO MAKE LEADERS, AND FELLOWSHIP THAT IS THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU ARE AT YOUR WORST. If you see a sad clown reach out to them and let them know you are here for them and that we could help them, get through the struggle. The slogan is not only when we work out with “We don’t leave a man behind, but we also don’t leave them where they started.” it is also for us to follow that to help those that need help.
We pray for Rusty to heal fast and recover fast, we pray for Tiny Bubbles to heel from his skin cancer that God will heal him and to get rid of the disease and for a speedy recovery, we also pray for God to keep Comal’s family in their prayers and to keep their faith in you and he rest in peace after battling covid, we pray that God continues to watch over all of our family and friends to protect them from covid and any other illnesses and diseases out there.
Naked Man Moleskin
I like to recognize the whole La Luz members and how this AO has grown with only being open for the last month. Keep the push fellas.
I also want to shout out to Aladdin, Boxcutter, Wedding Planner, Blowdry, sweeny todd, and One Bar for being the front lines of getting this AO started, way to lead, and show what a leader is and how to help out the community.
The devotion for July 20th was titled Supplies
Philippians 4:19
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
God is our source and supplies what we need to live transformed lives. Prayer is the way that we invite God’s power into a situation because He is the one that we look to, to supply our needs and to intervene in the lives of those we love. Bring your needs to Jesus! He desires to hear your heart and provide what you need.
Again, I am so grateful that I was introduced to this group a year ago and to have the fellowship and friendships that I have built with so many of you. This has been truly a life-changing experience; since then I have been baptized and have changed my life around to fully devote my life to Christ.
Until next time SYITG
