Introduction
YHC brought a new addition to La Luz RC! The Scout run! BR said he’s never seen it done before so I figure I nailed something new!
Warm-O-Rama

20 Arm circles reverse

The Thang
The Thang was a loop around La Luz trail up to Illinois St and back. The difference did a Scout Run. Pax would scout out ahead then come back! Pax ran for 5 mins at there own pace, then returned to the 6. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat. Continued this Scout Run all the way around the 1.75 mile loop. Fast pax ran a further distance yet we all saw each other a lot to encourage one another and we all finished together! Stronger together!
Circle of Trust
For COT YHC reminded the pax of Honoring your Farher and Monther. Caring for my 92 year old MIL in my home while she recovers from a fracture in her arm has been a life lesson in honoring your parents. I reminded and encouraged the Pax to find a way today to honor their parents in whatever way they could today. Prayers were lifted up for Cararacts SIL Laura, who is battling cancer and for AC/DC during his job search.

For cool down we did a little extra Mary! We haven’t been doing enough Mary at run clubs for my liking! Let’s GO!
