Introduction
Came in early to set up coupon es on the bridge and parking lot when a streetsweeper truck drove by. The guy was talking to CK. I thought that he might want to clean the area and asking CK for us to move.
Turns out a small dog was reported by an owner to have escaped (at 4:50 in the morning?) And that if we spot it call the owner’s number the streetsweeper guy gave to us.

Told the story of Morher Theresa of India:
A mother of a family of 8 were hungry. Mother Theresa brought them a pot of rice.
While the children ate, MT noticed the mother disappeared.
When she came back, MT asked where’d she go. The mother answered she took half of the pot of rice to another starving family in the neighborhood.
MT was amazed that even while the mother had 8 hungry mouths to feed and no guarantee where her next meal may come from, she thought of another family in need, and helped them out. This in spite that she’s a Hindu and the other family are Muslims.
Think about this as we give blood on our blood drive this Sunday.. by giving blood, we are giving a life line to someone in need. Our blood are all the same, whatever our background and socio economic status. The blood we donate will help heal, improve the health or even save a life.
