Warm-O-Rama

Warm up 3 minutes 5:15-5:18.  Abe Vigodas, shoulder rotations, tappy taps, and imperial walkers

The Thang

Grab Coupons head up the stairs and to the top of hill 2 minutes 5:18-5:19

Thang 1 (12 minutes, 5:19-5:31)

25 chest press

25 curls

25 goblet squats

25 rows

Run stairs down and back up.  Changed this to run down the hill and back up given the size of the group after just the 2nd set.

Repeat 3 times

Mosey to bottom of the hill

Thang 2 (10 minutes, 5:31-5:41)

Captain Thors

20 Merkins

20 LBCs

Repeat at each lightpost as we work our way across the soccer fields (3x)

Thang 3 (2 minutes, 5:41-5:43)

Two groups, not feeling fast and feeling fast.  We will run to the top of the pavilion.  First group gets a 15 second head start and second group gets a 5 second head start.  Ball Boy will be chasing the PAX.  If he passes by you on the way to the top of the pavilion you get 5 burpees on the spot.

Thang 4 (10 minutes, 5:43-5:53)

DORA – one person runs to the bottom of the hill and back up, the other does 50 Blockees, 100 big boys, 150 curls.

Grab coupons head to the bottom of the stairs.

Thang 5 (5 minutes, 5:53-5:58) Didn’t have time for this one, but probably for the better as it would have been hard for everyone in the group to find a spot to pull up on.

Drop coupons, head over to the playground.  We’re going to hang as long as we can.  If you drop, 5 burpees.

20 Flutter kicks, 10 pull ups OYO repeat.  Take coupons back to the flags.

Circle of Trust

I’m in the middle of reading Al Carius’ book.  If you’re not familiar with him, he’s been a coach at North Central for 54 years and won 19 national championships in track/cross country.  There’s a quote that I like in the book.  Your approach each day should not be what do I HAVE to do, instead, what do I GET to do today.  Attitude makes all the difference.  Aye!

Naked Man Moleskin

Gorgeous morning today, fantastic to see so many guys coming out for Lincoln Games.  We had at least 16 PAX EC before or after the workout at Two Wolves, and I ran into several on the paths beforehand coming over from Outpost; very cool sight to see.  260+ Monday and 217 today across F3 Naperville, both records!

Appreciate Bush Push’s commitment.  He was up until midnight making Roni Rolls, yet still made it to the BC.

Wide Right brought out his neighbor, a FNG, we named River Rat.  Great attitude, hope he enjoyed it and will keep coming out.

1st time posting with Sho’Nuff.  10 posts already through his 1st 2 weeks, love the effort!

Judge Smails hurt his back on rows.  Prayers for a quick recovery.

And to the guys using Big Boy Coupons this week, really impressive.

My apologies to Nacho.  I know he was disappointed that we didn’t do more running.
