Introduction

Perfect weather was lining up, but YHC had no idea what I was going to do. Knew I wanted to use the AO but had to put together a plan. Brought up Google Maps and it all started to come together.

Arrived at the AO at 6;40 took a quick tour and finalized the plan. PAX were rolling in at about 6:52, DJ Sump Pump warned that he was coming in hot. Boxcutter was nowhere to be found when YHC started Warm-A-Rama…

The Thang

First 25-30 min no coupons

Thang 1-BB courts

  • Started with a run to free throw along side line, defensive shuffle at free throw to other side line, run to mid court then side shuffle to other side, then next free throw, then end line but side shuffled to the opposite end line of the other court, back peddled to the free throw line, side shuffled to side line, repeated the snake all the way to where we started.
  • PAX lined up at the base line and we ran a 50% suicide.
  • Circled up for an “On Me Merkin”-YHC instructed ups and downs of the following
    • Regular merkins
    • Chuck Norris Merkins
    • T planks

Thang 2-Skatepark

  • Grab somewhere to do dips and do 30 OYO
  • Mucho Legos for 10 rounds
  • Dips
  • Mucho legos
  • Plank walked accross some metal and brick thing that YHC could reach. No idea what its called.
  • Ran up and back accross the skate ramp
  • Repeated skate ramp run
  • Repeated but going opposite way for the plank walk

Thang 3-Soccer field

  • bear crawl/crab walk-YHC yelled bear or crab and PAX flipped accross the field
  • Way back superhero run-Superman-Burpees, Hulk-jump squat, Spiderman-Alligator Merkin,Flash-sprint (Yep mixed DC/Marvel FREED TO LEAD!!!!!!!!)

LONG MOSEY!!!!!-Grabbed coupons from BBall court and went to the softball field

Thang 4-Softball Field

7 of Diamonds Coupon Style

  • 7 reps each base coupons swings
  • 14 reps each base squats
  • 21 reps each base chest press
  • 28 reps alt base curls then skull crushers

Run back to the flags and had PAX Cusak hold the Coupon and we did a ring of fire with OH press X5

Tomorrow I was scheduled to run my 2nd Chicago Marathon. Hats off to Blues Clues for finishing his goal without the official race. I’m not going to talk about this year but actually 3 years ago. This is when I said I “can’t” or “won’t” or “will never” run a marathon. I set unnecessary limits on my ability and they held me back. So I challenge you to replace the n’ts with “I have yet tos”
