Perfect temp and no precipitation – just what you want. It was a bit soggy on the field but nothing we can’t handle.
Everyone was on time and ready at 5:15.

We did a pearls type WoR – 2 exercises then mosey a bit to the track.

Cones set in 25 meter increments
Complete set of exercises then rifle carry to first cone, lunge walk to 2nd cone, bear crawl to 3rd cone, run back. Repeat exercises descending by 5 each round (20, 15, 10, 5 – then back up until the 6 is in)

Reset
When facing frustration, challenges, have a short-fuse … whatever situation you find yourself in where you are not in a good place – RESET. Take a walk, count to 10, whatever works for you. Try to remove yourself from that moment and take a few minutes to get back on track. We live busy lives with a lot of responsibilities – when the negativity builds up, you need to reset.

I planned the workout … I wrote it out. I was ready. And then … I wasn’t. When we got to the field I couldn’t remember the 5 exercises and was fumbling a bit. It happens. I eventually figured it out and we were on our way but, I was a bit peeved that it didn’t go as smoothly as I thought it would. I’ll sign up and give it another try soon enough.
