Naked Man Moleskin
I find joy in putting together a playlist that keeps the energy high and vibes flowing. I always hope that PAX find their time well used in the gloom of my Qs so much so that it kickstarts their day. I never really know, but my assumption is if they keep coming out, it’s not a waste of their time.
Additionally, I try to create a bootcamp that is beyond mundane whether the exercise is new or tried and true. In this case, there were no bells and whistles – just a healthy dose of volume and variety to keep the wide range of PAX committed to executing the set as best as possible. I almost always try to keep the recovery active and the “sprints” hard enough to give you a push but enough to catch your breath and able to repeat them.
The group was awesome. Some notable observations: Big Wheel’s fitness continues to trend upward; Cowbell is packing on some lean meat; I think this was Aladdin’s first Q of mine so it was nice to see him contribute to the total effort; WiaB gave an ultra-great push at the end; Upper Decker finished strong and his fitness progress is also consistently getting better; Country Grammar always finishes the reps with consistent form; BabyHands moves like Jagger; It was nice to formally meet Sephora. Welcome! The usual suspects – Goldberg, Callahan, Backdraft, Sputnik, Catfish, Shoeless, Mellencamp, Nosejob and Bjorn – bring out the best in me and I loved seeing every one of them. Well, Mellencamp has no choice as Site Q, but he still keeps me on my toes as Q.
