Introduction

Singlet was not a FNG, but not yet listed in directory.

It was a nice, cool morning. I believe around 57 degrees.

I warned PAX in my PreBlast that we would be hitting full body today, including a little more attention on the mid-section. I hope I didn’t disappoint. It was 5:15 and we were ready to roll!

Circle of Trust

I notice that I talk a lot about my M and kids. They are the center of my universe. I noted a couple of weeks ago that the kids have been home with us for the last 3 months due to SIP. Their original school (daycare) closed, but they are transferring to a sister school a little further down the road. The new school opens up next Wednesday, June 17th. I have mixed emotions about this day coming up. It has been stressful for my M and I to try and work full time while having both kids home the last three months. We have done the distance learning activities with them, we have taken turns working while the other watches the kids, etc. However, it has also been a blessing. We have done a lot of family walks, bike rides, making snacks, and just overall spent a lot of time together that we usually did not have. I am happy that they are going back to school, but I am also going to miss some of the home time that we spent together! I am also nervous about them going back. To date, I could only control what we as a family did as far as our safety is concerned and any precautions that we have taken. It occurs to me that while school will have certain measures in place to protect the kids, there is nothing I can actually do to make sure other kids are being safe, that their parents are being safe, and that everyone is taking the appropriate precautions. I have to ‘give up’ the control and put faith in the community to do their best to look out for each other. This made me also think about (again) all of the front line workers who put themselves out there every day. As people continue to somewhat go back to normal with returning to work and venturing out more in public, I pray that everyone stays safe and that we all continue to take the appropriate steps to be smart, safe, and healthy. I also pray that we continue on this path of recovery.

No direct prayer requests, but we prayed for front line workers and all of those who are venturing back out into public as restrictions continue to ease.

Naked Man Moleskin

My goal with this workout was to keep us moving the whole time AND to do a little more ab work than normal. I am hoping I met that goal.

It is also funny to me that the night before a Q I always worry about the timing and if I will have enough ‘material’. Then come workout time, it seems like we are scrambling at the end to finish everything. Eventually I will get the hang of it…!

An interesting note – for some reason, Bongo and Cannoli did not show up on my screen during WoR. I figured they had fartsacked. It wasn’t until we went to partner up that I realized they were there. Odd that Ring only showed me four screens at first and not all screens. I clicked around on the ‘views’ and low and behold, all screens showed up and all HC’s were accounted for!

Thanks for joining me!
