Introduction

An AO called The Levee and a sandbag workout? Seems like you can’t have one without the other.

Let’s test this theory out and bring the two together.

Bring your sandbags and if you want to level up, wear a vest.Sound off in the thread what you have for a bag(s) and if you will be vested.

Hard shit is hard for a reason.  But if you take the first steps, it gets easier.

Today is day 40 of 75 Hard and it has turned into a lifestyle.  The First couple of days sucked and then after that it just felt like second nature.

The same goes for all PAX.  When a buddy challenges you to a CSAUP or to run a half marathon, typically the first thought by many PAX is “that’s hard. I’m not in good enough shape for that.  Maybe next time.”

But you can put whatever you put your mind to.  HC and it will get easier after you start taking the steps to complete.  But you have to start to get there.

Naked Man Moleskin

First I was impressed to see the amount of PAX who showed up vested.  About half took on the challenge to do hard shit and get through it.  Bravo.

Second, self AAR. I counted sandbags the night before and numbers changed in the morning.  I tried to do a Indian Run sandbag shuffle and it didn’t work because I didn’t take the time to either alter it correctly or scrap it.

Third, I didn’t take into account the time it takes an average PAX to mosey, vested or carrying a sandbag, to get from the parking lot to the Levee.  As a result we had to cut the Dora in half to get back on time.  Again poor time management and planning on my part.

I got so complacent Qing that I just assumed the workout would flow fine without working out the details better.  As a result (even though the PAX said it was a hell of a beat down) I was not happy with the flow and intensity of the Q.

I can do better and will do better.
