Introduction

Looked last Friday at the Q sheet and saw an opening on Monday. Figured I’d grab it – no better way to make sure I start the week off right than getting out ITG, and no better way to be accountable to being ITG than leading a workout.

Wrote the preblast –

I hate Mondays. I hate getting up on Mondays.If I’m gunna get up, it won’t be for easy.If you hate Mondays, HC in the thread. Coupons aren’t needed. Be prepared to move, and a :headlamp: if that’s the way you roll.

HCs started to roll in – and YHC was happy to see Appletini drop an HC – haven’t seen that HIM in a minute or two!

YHC planned on vesting up – but saw it was supposed to rain and opted to not (probably for the best – tweaked a calf running on Saturday and felt it the whole time today). Arrived around 5:00 to just gather thoughts before getting out and greeting PAX – 5:15 rolled around and off we went!

Warm-O-Rama

20 Imperial Walkers in Cadence

Mosey to the west edge of the lot – 10 tappy taps in cadence

Mosey to the area behind the high school baseball fields

20 Arm Circles Forward , 20 backward, 10 Seal Claps, 10 Overhead Claps, 10 Abe Vigotas, 10 Grady Corn – all in Cadence – Recover.

 

The Thang

Pearls on a String

Run (something a bit quicker than a mosey, but a pace PAX could hold) across the bridge

5 Burpees on YHCs down

Run along the path toward the pavilion

Pause for 10 Merkins, 5 Burpees

Continue running toward pavilion

Pause for 15 Big Boys, 10 Merkins, 5 Burpees

Arrive at Pavilion

20 Dips, 15 Big Boys, 10 Merkins, 5 Burpees

Cross at the dam, continue along the path back toward where we started

Pause for 20 Squats, 15 Big Boys, 10 Merkins, 5 Burpees

Continue Running

Pause for 20 Lunges (the easy way) 20 Squats, 15 Big Boys, 10 Merkins 5 Burpees

I hate Mondays – I shared it in the preblast. If you are looking for me on a Monday, I likely won’t be found ITG. One of my goals this year is to be better on getting out and starting the week right. Please hold me accountable to coming out on Mondays and getting my week started off right – bust my balls if I don’t make it out.

Really – for everyone, if you find something simple getting in the way of achieving your goals, ask for help and Accountability. (Capital A – read Q Source F2 – Language).

Prayers were said, lifting the F3 Community up, especially our brothers in Knoxville. Special intentions were shared.

Naked Man Moleskin

YHC has led a few beatdowns now, and is pretty confident in being able to put a good one together. That said, when a crew that includes Appletini, Roach Coach and Handy Manny, YHC still gets a bit nervous. All 3 of these HIMs have consistently led creative beatdowns that are NOT easy, and YHC hopes to not disappoint.

That said – I think this one came together OK – it wasn’t the most creative, but we did manage to cover some ground. In hindsight – we would have used the railroad ties for some dips since YHC has no idea why they are there in the first place (may as well put them to use). Another time perhaps..
