This past Sunday’s service was about waiting. Advent is a season of waiting. Often times we are in our own seasons of waiting and we are impatient.
I felt this service related well as a CoT to F3 as we are often men who are impatient. We want to get that PR. Want to heal quickly. Want to be faster than our buddy, stronger than our buddy.
Often times when we are in a season of waiting in life we lose track of the real reason why we are waiting. Often times the reason why we are waiting is so that God may do work around us.
When we are waiting we often get so focused on our small, personal plans that we forget to open our eyes to God’s grand plan that the Lord has for us.
When we are in a season of waiting, we must not waste that season but use that season to our advantage, to grow as a person and grow in our faith. Aye.
We closed with the Lord’s prayer.

We welcomed an FNG today, David. He is a nurse who hales from Colombia. David is married with 6 children. David’s F3 name is “Scrubs”. Welcome to F3 Naperville, Scrubs. We are now stronger with you, brother. I look forward to seeing you out again soon.
This workout was harder than I expected. It was a ball buster and the Black Jack thang took a while. It is always good to have alternate things planned. I had 4 Thangs planned and we were going to travel to the other side of the lake. That didn’t happen and we modified. As it was the workout torched everyone and it was still a great chest, back and especially shoulder workout. Guys were commenting how sneaky hard it was…sounds like a pretty good compliment if you ask me.
One of my favorite spots to workout is The Citadel. It has everything you need and a strong group of guys that show up.
Shout out to Nala who worked hard today and pushed the entire time. Nala never gives himself any credit and is very humble, but is one of the hardest workers out every time. Respect.
