I arrived early to set up the cones on the backside of the hill and get ready for the morning’s events. It was extremely hot and muggy even for 5:15 am. It was going to be a shirt drencher for sure. I headed back to the flags and welcomed and met a few new PAX. Before I knew it, it was 5:15 – time to get the party started.

The Thang
Mosey with the coupons to the far side of the hill by the sidewalk.
Thang 1 – Quarter Pounder with Cheese
- Murder Bunny to first cone, perform 25 Irkins, run to start
- Run to first cone, pick up coupon, Murder Bunny to second cone, perform 50 Plank Jacks on coupon, run to start
- Run to 2nd cone, pick up coupon, Murder Bunny to third cone, perform 75 Reverse Lunges, run to start
- Run to 3rd cone, pick up coupon, Murder Bunny to fourth cone, perform 100 Tall Coupon Chest Press, run to start
- Run to 4th cone, pick up coupon, Murder Bunny to fifth cone, perform 125 Coupon Dips run to start
- SSH for the 6
- To finish off, alternate Lunge Walk and Broad Jump at each cone until you get back to coupon.
Mosey up the hill with coupon to the other set of cones.
Thang 2 – 5 Times Up the Hill
PAX perform exercise and starting reps at bottom of the hill, then run to first cone and back, increase reps and run to second cone and back. Continue pattern 5 times. LBCs until the 6 is in.
- Curls (10, 20, 30, 40, 50)
- Thrusters (5, 10, 15, 20, 25) Run backwards up the hill and normal run back down
- Burpee’s (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
Grab coupons and mosey back to the flags and drop off coupons.Â

It was my first time in a long time that I have been to Dark Tower and an even longer time since I last Q’d there. I was excited to Q at DT. Once we ran over the hill with the coupons and arrived at the bottom of the backside I described Thang 1. Once I mentioned Murder Bunnies the groans started. It was going to be a good morning. Everyone crushed the workout and I am positive that most PAX had their daily protein consumed through the number of gnats that were out and consumed. They were unbelievable. It was great to get to a new location I have not frequented in a while and meet some new PAX. I need to make more trips to DT in the future for sure.
