Introduction

Let’s keep the momentum going at IL as we accelerate into and then through the holidays!It’s going to be dark, it’s going to be cold, it’s going to be great.

Arrived at about 5a thinking I’m early or at least right on time, notice a couple EC sillouettes in the distance, Ebeneezer is all set up and ready, about 5-6 cars already in the parking lot, and my FNG is already there!  The Iron Lion, as usual, is active and ready to go. Me too, almost.  Borrowed cones from Ebeneezer (thank you!), set them up and back with just a few minutes to spare.

So awesome to see these guys every morning and now it’s my turn, I really hope I don’t disappoint them.

(we only did five burpees, they did it perfectly on the first try but I wanted to do at least 5 burpees so I pretended that we failed, we did 5 burpees and everyone did it perfectly again on the second try.  Honestly I wasn’t sure how long this was going to take and was prepared to maybe do this the whole time if needed.  WELL DONE!)

Circle of Trust

This holiday season, try to enjoy small moments of Joy and contentment. I was reminded of this a few times recently at Q Source and at last week’s homily about patience during Advent. I need to remind myself of this and encourage you as well to be aware of these moments.

Pray that Covid goes away, pray for those that are tired, scared, lonely, feeling hopeless.

Thank you Ebeneezer for having my 6, helping, and use of your cones.
It’s darker than I thought and cones were hard to see especially on the far end, sorry.

Will have to remember a couple of things, at least, for improvement in the future but overall I think a success.
Really glad to have the guys out there and I really hope everyone keeps coming out during the winter and beyond.
