Introduction

Join YHC for a Tabata style workout at the EIL. We’ll put in 45 minutes of solid work, get some mumble chatter and tunes going, and will not leave the parking lot.  If you’re dying to run, then stick around for the 6:30 am run club…but that won’t be our thang.  Bring a coupon and a jump rope.

Warm-O-Rama

Mosey around the parking lot, Abe Vigodas, Imperial Walkers, Calf stretch, Quad Stretch.

The Thang

Tabata style workout with 45 seconds of activity followed by 15 seconds rest, rinse and repeat for 40 minutes with the following activities:

Derkins, Curls, Goblet Squats, Thrusters, Big-Boy Sit-ups, Lunges, Bent-over Rows, Skull Crushers, Toe Raises, Curls, Chest Press, Mountain Climbers, Overhead Press, LBC’s, Plank Jacks, Skull Crushers, Curls, Freddie Mercury’s, American Hammers, Boxcutters.

In between each of the lifting exercises, we did 45 seconds of jump rope.

I realize with the following PAX in attendance(BabyHands, Sputnik, Wine-in-a-Box, Nosejob, CousinEddie, Lightfoot and Rainman), that I may be preaching to the choir, but my message today is to get on the Q sheet.  The Q sheet has been fairly full about 7-10 days out, but is pretty empty beyond that.  Get on the Q sheet and book a few spots over the summer.  Thank you all for coming out.  Prayers for Columbus and his family.

Naked Man Moleskin

Loved the Saturday morning mumble chatter!  Most could use some work on the jump rope, as our form broke down at times and there were a few broken jump ropes by the end(mine included).
