It is never good when you plan a Q and really dred going to it. That’s what happened today. Weather was about 35 degrees, but the windchill put it into the low 20’s. Nine (9) PAX came out to Holy Hill to experience an unholy workout. Nice job today and thank you to those who came from so far away.

Circle of Trust
There are a lot of things to worry about out there. Corona virus, a tumultuous stock market, other non-corona health issues, work, things going on with our friends and families, each of our own personal demons and concerns. For me, top of mind is the state of my left arm/bicep. I am a planner, which has the unfortunate side effect of looking at and considering when future situations go south. But the message I want to convey here is that while it is important to anticipate and plan for the future, it is equally, if not more, important to keep your eyes open to the present. You can’t predict the future, so make sure to enjoy the present and force yourself to roll with the punches. Remind yourself that things will work out and everything happens for a reason. And with that, we pray: God, thank you for giving us the opportunity to come together and be out here this morning. Every day is a privilege to be here, and on this planet. And it is our responsibility as men to better not only ourselves, but to better the world around us. Please hear our thoughts and prayers, including FIB’s friend with stage 4 breast cancer and Evan’s parents, who will be laying Evan to rest today as well as all the unspoken. And allow us to be able to come together again sooner, rather than later. Amen.
Naked Man Moleskin
Phenomenal job today guys. Thank you for the travelers (House Arrest and Muggsy).
A couple of notes:
- When we do a normal Spartan, we struggle to get through the 300 merkins in 45 minutes
- When we last did a Spartan at the DT parking garage, we got through 100 burpees and 100 merkins in 45 minutes before turning back to the flags
- Today, we got through 300 burpees on a very steep hill in under 45 minutes
Per the last bullet point – this is awesome. You all killed it out there.
