Introduction

I was little nervous on this one considering I usually spend a lot of time planning out a Q. This one, not so much. The HCs started piling up but I thought, “Naw man, I’m Rain Man. Rain Man don’t do the typical Q.” So, that’s when it occurred to me. We’ll keep the ticker going and try to give Goldberg some solid strain today.

Message: Not planning doesn’t mean being unorganized. You organize yourself so that you are always prepared. I’ve had a mental shift the past couple of weeks and it has taken a toll on my mental health. As I mentioned above, I usually do a lot of planning for Qs – I try to be unique, change it up, break away from the mundane. Heck, once again I’m staring at a computer for probably the 10th hour today. Last night, I let my mind rest and today I tested out how prepared I could be. We had a solid number of PAX come up and the main thing, per the usual, is that everyone gets something out of the bootcamp. I wanted to make sure we kept our heart rate up and I think we accomplished that. We sprinted long and quite a bit. It. Was. Hard. But everyone showed up and pushed themselves. Damn, I was proud of them. And everyone kept moving which was an awesome sight.

Until next time, we will be grateful, we will be humble, we will be relentless, we will be prepared. I got re-fired up again just typing this. Perhaps next time, we’ll get some more maniacs to come out and eat the frog.
