Circle of Trust
I was originally going to run a different workout, but wanted to support the rivalry here, and got sound advice from my site Q along the way the day before judging attendance etc. Didn’t prepare anything overly long here for COT, just appreciated Parks and Rec and HotBox joining me ITG. It was good talking to you guys for 20-30 min afterwards too. That was a lot more personal than the 10+ pax we’ve had on these calls previously so was good to hear how you guys are doing and what’s going on in your worlds during this strange time.
Naked Man Moleskin
I am not pushing as hard in these virtual workouts, I can tell, but just being with you other guys who come out is what it’s all about. I know many peoples lives have changed, jobs potentially gone, with financial struggles, and lots more we are all doing. But the one thing we all can control is OUR EFFORT. We can choose to still get up at the same time, to keep each other honest and accountable by showing up each morning, or as many as we can each week, and pushing ourselves and each other. What happens beyond that in everyone’s schedules and days now, understandably has changed for the time being. But let’s control what we can when it comes to our bodies, our minds. The time in the morning is, generally speaking and hopefully for you all as well, still ours, still quiet. There are no people out running, no neighbors walking around, hopefully no kids awake yet (for me until 6.01am at least lol). This is your time, this is my time, to get out and push for a new PR on an EC run, to try to get a 6-pack in in one week finally (i’m trying). When you can’t do what you want, do what you can.
Looking forward to more mornings virtually together with you all, until things are back to normal.
