The Thang
Exploring the beautiful AO we ran a 1 mile loop incorporating some straight always, the bridge and some incline. OYÓ pushing ourselves to go the distance. Rinse and Repeat 🔁.
RC Mary included running suicides in the parking lot until 6am. My goal was to keep running after Thang One and push through till 6 o’clock. Pax thought the running was over 🤣
Circle of Trust
I was sitting at the Barbor shop 💈 (where Blow Dry works) listening to a podcast from T.D. Jakes an American Bishop. The topic was an acorn.
It said, imagine 💭 standing in front of a large oak tree. In your ✋🏽 rest a tiny acorn. You study the small unassuming acorn, taking your gaze back up to the large beautiful tree.
The acorn never questioned his ability to turn into an oak tree. He knows that it’s inside of him. He knows he contains all the glory of an oak tree and trust the process of becoming one. Right now you may feel small like your purpose and passions are pointless. It’s as your impacts our invisible. No one can see it or feel it, heck you can’t see it or feel it! But you know that is there existing inside of you.
I loved this message because we have to trust the process! We each have our own destination, individual goals that we want to achieve and achieve fast! There may be short cuts along your journey many distractions but stay true to the process! No matter what your goal may be. Being a better version of yourself is a process. That person already lies within you, it’s about being patient and making sure you stick and stay true “a process” whatever that may be for you.

Want to give @Groot a shoutout on his will to continue he’s recovery process, suffering from a meniscus tear a while ago. Getting stronger a day at a time. Happy @Milton came out to give La Luz a 🏃🏽♂️ for it’s money! I’m sure he enjoyed the incline we had today 😉. Shout out to @BabyGloss and his brother @Dr Seuss going in hard! You guys don’t get tired! Lastly I will have to redeem myself with some sort of Labor Day breakfast w/Pork Rinds. Many places were closed this morning. Luckily we found a Mexican bakery that remains open every holiday opening at 4am! We gathered there for cafeteria.
La Luz is here to stay and we would love anyone who hasn’t made it out to this way to give it a shot. 👊🏽
