Introduction

The bridge was closed at La Luz upon my arrival as QIC and patches of ice were hidden in select spots around the AO that was mostly clean on a surprising 45+ degree morning in February. Blow Dry and BR were out for an EC Ruck as I scouted out the hill to set up the cones for the alpine skiing. Slowly the PAX started to roll to go for the gold at La Luz.

PAX lined up in their teams at base of hill.  This was one on one heats between two racers. Each racer runs to each cone and does 5 merkins all the way to the top. The 1st racer to the top wins. All other PAX run straight to the top and do 10 merkins. Rinse and repeat until all PAX have competed against each other. The team our country with the most wins out of 6 heats wins the gold.

Circle of Trust

If you were there today you know I spoke more about finding that “warrior spirt” inside yourself.

For me, the warrior spirit is not about conquering things, other people or other places.

No. The warrior spirit is about creating a better version of yourself through trial and error, intentional and dedicated effort, pain and suffering, loss and heartache, blood, and sweat, and hustle and all the things that allow you to become that better version of yourself.

It’s not about you comparing yourself to others. A true warrior knows where to find that warrior spirit within and to compare himself to previous versions of himself with the idea to always work on becoming better in a more positive way.

I leave you with that gentlemen, find the way of the warrior spirt with in you.

Prayers.

Shout out to all the boyz at La Luz, bringing that high energy into the Olympics in the gloom this morning. Start up was fired up, loved watching him compete against BR hot out of the gate, Road Trip and Abu were flying however Team Mexico brought the cholula on Alpine Skiing despite Silks scrappy speed up that hill for Germany. I see you Silk! Til next time brothers…
