Introduction
It’s been a couple months since I Q’d at the Bear. You know the drill. No Coupons needed. HC in the thread. Be ready to sweat. We’ll probably be all over the AO so dress accordingly.
The Scene: High 50’s. A little bit of wind. Ground was wet but not too much and no rain to be seen. YHC arrived around 5, dropped my dry erase board by the hill and came back to 7 regulars and 2 newbies ready for a beating.

I am not a professional. You are here of your own free will. I have no knowledge of any injuries or fitness considerations. It is your responsibility to be safe and modify exercises as needed. In cadence (IC) is the rhythm in between each rep or the body movement between each rep.
Warm-O-Rama
Burpee Mile – made our way around the perimeter of the AO stopping after a quarter mile (each corner) to do 12 burpees (IC – 6 count)
’nuff said. I did this for Rusty to help him meet his burpee goal for the year. 10 guys did 48 burpees total, that’s 480 burpees added.
The Thang
Yul Brynner – Normally this is a routine where you progress through 7 different types of merkins without stopping or holding a plank between each one. However, I thought why not take these exercises and create a ladder of 7 reps each in order for the PAX to become more familiar with the movements. Moseyed over to the base of the hill.

The CofT is what you make it. As the Q, you can talk about whatever you want hopefully free from judgment.
Not everything is as cut and dry as the media or politicians would like you to believe. We live in between black and white. We live in the gray. We are also free to live this way. That’s the beauty and the responsibility of our country. But it is not a life without consequence. Every choice you make has a consequence. Choice. That is what we all should have. God gave us free will to make choices. But he also gave us the consequences for making selfish choices. Everyone needs to accept the responsibility and the consequences of their choices.
I’m going to be completely transparent right now with my belief system. To some, I may be wrong in their eyes. To others, we may see eye to eye. But I’m not above discussing my beliefs in a civil manner. My beliefs on the surface may seem hypocritical or counterintuitive but they come from my heart. I believe in science and most vaccinations, but I do not believe in mandates. Everyone should be given the choice but they also have to take the consequences and the responsibility of that choice. I believe in Pro Choice, that does not make me pro abortion. It is every woman’s right to choose and their decision is between themselves and their God. It is also every person’s right to receive the medical care necessary for that procedure if it is their choice. I want them to choose life but that is not my choice.
Many people talk about the Constitution and their freedoms but do not want to take the responsibility for that freedom. Take this Rittenhouse case. He was a punk looking for trouble. He got in over his head. He panicked and he killed two people. He should take responsibility for his actions. It should be simple but our society, our media and our systems don’t make it simple and create division where there should be unity.
This will probably read back as an incoherent mess but these are the thoughts on my mind today.
Thank you for listening.
Peace,
Cousin Eddie
