Circle of Trust

We have 5 Core values at the company I work at

The one I have thougth about lately is Choose Positivity. This really applies not only to work but life these days.  What I like about it is that the value is not “Be positive”. I think of myself as a positive person. But this an intentional act by using the word “Choose”. We could use more of that these days when we get frustrated. Angry or depressed. Choose positivity, find solutions, and you will make an impact on the people around you.

Naked Man Moleskin

Really appreciated the 11 PAX that joined me on the frozen tundra this morning.  Had some good mumble chatter going and the a couple PAX liked how the group was staying together.  I had everyone wait for the 6 after each round but noticed some guys waiting up for others so we were in groups.  I felt good that everyone seemed to be looking out for each other and pushing each other through the cold.

Then, AFib stumbled and fell right about 10 yards in front of me.  Moonlight was right on it and executed his Site Q duties flawlessly.  Drago, Radio Flyer, and Nacho Libre and maybe another PAX ran and got towels, sweatshirt, etc.  After we realized AFib was ok, I led the other PAX onward with the workout…we didn’t all need to all stand over him laying on the pavement.

It was great to see everyone jump to action immediately, and help our friend.  Great teamwork and really showed how we are all there for each other.

Moonlight mumbled something about not getting his 100 burpees and we all jumped in our warm cars.  I thought on the way home that we should probably send out some options for concussion training.  I’ve had it for my 2.0s basketball but all Site Qs should get some training.  It doesn’t take much time and is good training to have.

And, no, I didn’t pick the Packers.
