Introduction

Pre-Blast The OG Outpost Wednesday 12/14 0515!

Join me for a full body beatdown with a Holiday Twist! Missed the Black Diamond on Monday and feeling regret? Or just simply looking for a good way to start your morning with a solid calorie burner? Look no further than this preblast and drop your HC. I will be modifying the workout I used Monday to fit into our 45 minutes of time together. So bring your coupons, your shoes for pavement, and your Holiday Spirit. There is some rain in the forecast and though I would NEVER intentionally modify a workout to stay out of the rain, it just so happens that we will be hanging out under the pavilion tomorrow for most of this beatdown. So keep that in mind.

Yea…yea… Scrooged this and that…”need my miles”. You know what… go ahead and support my boy C-Bus at DT if that is your calling for tomorrow. Whatever you do … just make sure you get out somewhere tomorrow! Hope to see some of you fine HIM at OP! :the_horns: :christmas_tree: :santa:

I got to the AO around 0505 and had enough time to set up my dry erase board (named Whitey Tighty by FiA K9) under the pavilion. We circled up by the flags and 0515 came.

Five Core Principles, Disclaimer, Mission Statement, and Credo recited. Let’s get warm!

This is my third year running this workout right around this time of year. Just a little something to throw PAX a little further into the holiday spirit. When I looked back at my backblast from last year’s edition, I was reminded that it was my first workout back out in the Gloom after dealing with COVID and I reflected back on just how much this all means to me. It still holds true to this day. I honestly could not imagine my life with F3. It is a complete lifestyle for me now. I love it…and I hope the PAX here today do too.

This led me to my second point which was to remember the time of year we are in. Show a little more gratitude, appreciation, kindness, and love. This time of year can mean many different things to many different people. Be respectful of that and look after each other. Kindness is free.

The timing worked out really well on this for today. We blitzed through the first 5 rounds and I got a little nervous that we were going to finish way too early. But the later rounds (obviously) took longer to complete. I had each PAX hold squat before the run at each round, which was in contrast to how I handled a very similar workout on Monday’s Black Diamond. I liked the way it flowed, but it was a little different of a group / routine too. Pros and cons to both methods, in my humble opinion.

I (somewhat) promised PAX we would be staying out of the rain for the workout…so that probably explains why I got some sideways looks when I still had us circle up, with our coupons, at the flags to get started. To me, there is significance in starting the workout by the flags. I can’t quite explain it…but after a quick round of Side Straddle Hops, we made our way to shelter!

Thank you, seriously, for the PAX that keep coming out to my Q’s…and coming out to F3 in general. We are a strong group and it is because PAX keep coming back!

Humbled and honored – BC
