Circle of Trust
Taking on a challenge is like riding a horse. If you’re comfortable while you’re doing it, you’re probably doing it wrong ~ Ted Lasso
In order to continue to grow as leaders, as husbands, as fathers, at work, etc. we need to continue to take on tasks that are uncomfortable and challenging. This is a good reminder that we shouldn’t be always looking for the easy tasks, but the challenging ones, and we should strive to do them to the best of our ability, even when they are hard.
Naked Man Moleskin
Thanks to the PAX that braved the weather this morning and to Wine in a Box for having my 6.
The theme today turned out to be flexibility.
My original plan was to do primarily coupon work; however, after checking the weather yesterday I determined that I needed to adjust the plan and go to the parking garage. This meant no coupons, as I strive to avoid running distances with coupons. So I changed up the workout to a Christmas theme.
Wine in a Box lost power at his house and couldn’t get his garage door open, but still made it in time to cover the 6. Very much appreciated!
Everyone gave a great effort, even when I called motivators from 12! The purpose was not to do 12 motivators continuously, but to push through the mental challenge. After we got to 10 motivators, I realized that we needed to break it up so we stopped and shifted to 11 flights of stairs. Once we finished the round, it was 7:14. We decided to Mosey back to the flags and wrap up early (it was still an official workout because it lasted until 7:22) so that PAX that wanted to could go to the check presentation at Iron Lion could get there in time.
And…I will make it back to Dark Tower for my originally planned coupon Q!
